'Ahem.' Fitzy is living off stale bread and tap water right now so that the car can get pampered. Once I win Lotto, I'll let you know. Big blocks for everyone!

Your brake line work is superb - it not only looks good but serves a worthwhile purpose. Very impressive.

Now that the master cylinder is all mocked up, i am going to pull it off and paint it with hammerite black paint, which will take a whole week to dry hard  as, and brake fluid wont worry it in the future.

Yeah, right. Can you post a pic of the product when you get around to it? It sounds like a very worthwhile substance.

Yeah bro, still haven't had the time to touch her. Hoping to this week. I seen where he was farming out work trying to win this race!

'Trying to win this race.'

Yeah, right. I'm having 2 minute noodles as a special treat tonight before crying myself to sleep after surveying the shreds of my bank account. No race here, I'm just over looking at the old girl and hoping stuff was done, so I made it happen.

I hear ya bro. I'm glad your making headway. Cant wait for the video you send us of her running!

Nice plates. I found mine on ebay and it was entirely coincidental that the letters are GPS - Grand Prix...I dunno...Sixties? Anyway, I'm sure everyone is aware that 60s black and gold CA plates are worth money these days. They are period correct for my 65 car and it was born in CA, so pretty close, plus they really stick out here in Oz.

Careful mate - she could be planning your untimely and tragic end right now!

Of course the reason why most men die before their wives is....THEY WANT TO!!!

Not sure what the spray can paint is like or if it’s even the same product, but the Hammerite I have used since the early “70”s is goooood sh%#! Tough as a rock and pretty much impervious to most all chemicals after it’s cured! The Hammerite I use is a brush on that you can spray, but it takes a pretty high psi to do that.

Yip Last Indian, thats what i have been using too, 👍i had use the bush on version and the spray can is justA  as good.... JustA takes a week to fully harden and like you said, its like rock !!!

The last big job i used the brush on version for was my vision 500 quad bike i use at the beach, i stripped it completely down to the frame, sand blasted it and hammerited the whole frame.... it will never rust!!!hahaha

Finally got the correct elbow i was after to complete the braided fuel line from the pump too the carb. this one is the fuel bowl end.

Also i have hunted the entire web for the long branch headers and Ames dont have them. But i have john at pontiac tripower looking to supply them too me when he gets his stocks, which i bet are coming from rare, where Paul, simply doesn't do well with communicating.

And i am more than happy to give the man who gives good service my money

Now to the front end , earlier on in my thread you will see I pressed in the lower front A arm bushes only to find that they are 1/2 inch and my 64 is set up for 9/16 bolts !!! Simply not going to work .

bit of home work found the correct ones at Ames .... well I thought so !! Andy you will laugh ! Pressed out the wrong ones

went to press in the Ames ones , and stopped !!! I justA thought I would check them to ensure the 9/16 bolts fitted !

oval bushes bang on👍

Round ones didn’t fit !!! I ended up using a dremal to open them up to fit the bolts

B25B7409-3E67-4C4D-A5F7-521522C8B0F1.jpeg

Next was to install them , along with the 3 inch lowering springs and sort the shocks

both front shocks needed the bolt holes opened up and once again I hit them with the dremal 👍👍👍
