Got the Sunbird flywheel today, suppose to rain for the rest of the week. = Quality time in the garage and get my Bird back on the road. Ain't it purdy?

decided to give the new one a little love, Started to detail it and cleaned up its summer rims that i need to get the bead resealed on, For being parked and left to sit for 2 years she cleans up nice, Also made a list of what it needs, power steering lines ( racoon took them out as with i need a new front bumper, Valve cover gasket ( gm recall) ,battery, im putitng my extra set of halo headlights in it, and it needs new brakes ( PO is looking for the brakes he bought but never put on it) other then that it has 120k miles on it, runs smooth, shifts smooth everything works besides the powersteering, always starts first crank, When its running you cant even feel it run

Looks great, Nice find, like the color.

Picked up my Pressure plate/clutch this afternoon an Justa finished installing with the new flywheel. Started it (to make sure the starter didn't need to be shimmed. OOOP's didn't realize it was after 12pm. She can hit the ground again tomorrow!!!

drove it back from Vegas. nearly took out a coyote.

Bird is back on the ground. Moved it back in forth in the garage. Everything seems fine. Will have to wait on a test drive... Forcasting rain everyday - Sat. Dirt roads...UGH. GTO is a mess from the shower we had on the way home from the DC.

:woot:

Living on dirt roads would drive me nuts :willy_nilly:

I will vouch for JUSTA. He is nuts! Wing Nuts!!!!! :lol2:

I can't wait to see the 'Bird on the road again bud!

Yes I'm NUTS..... I blame it on my roads. Frosty, care to hit the Labor day car show N fair at Clarkston Rd N Sashabaw? I plan on hitting that with the BIRD. Monday Sept 1st. Finished the roofing yesterday, need to finish caulk today and finally put all this mess of tools away. Then I can empty the garage N get the Bird out. Maybe even find a minute to take my new jet boat out. Hasn't been splashed since 4th of July. Running out of summer quick! Whatta screwed year...........

New nose mask for the Honda.

It's perfect because it covers the one spot on the hood that gets hammered with bugs and rocks. Plus, my leather cleaner and conditioner stuffs will keep it nice looking whenever I'll take it off for cleaning.

Was so bummed thinkin this was the 2nd year the Bird missed Woodward DC. She finally moved into the sun light on her own, for the 1st time since the Pontiac Dustoff 2012. (Smoked the clutch screwin around on the way home.) So it's missed the last 3 WDC's. It's never been this dirty....ever! I never get the car wet. But had to bite the big one and take the hose to the paint for the 1st time. Keeping the water off the windows = keeping inside of doors dry. Quick massage with Meiguers and she's feeling soooo much better. The wife drove the GTO for the 1st time on a run up to the gas station. She did well to handle the beast. Plan on attending the labor day show with both cars. This should be a blast!
