GTO is finally back together. Installing the new parts should not have taken that much work. The fan shroud was the worst to install. Ended up trimming the fan blades to match the inside curve of the shroud. Still not sure there is enough clearance for engine rock. Test run this AM N back on the roof to replace more shingles.

Nothing new with the Honda, outside of awaiting a recall. There's a recall still collecting up for 1 million Hondas, and my generation Accord is possibly effected. The airbags could need replacement, as there's reports of the airbag casings being destroyed as they deploy and shrapnel being launched at the occupants. Yeah, uh...no bueno.

The Honda dealer in my town still has no info yet.

lol didn't realize they were like that. it's not that the plastic is frosted it's got a different pattern..trust me when i put them in i was like oh now i'm gonna have to do something about the center piece.

the factory center piece on my car has horizontal and vertical line where the JDM stuff i got has only horizontal lines.

to better explain what i was talking about. the us versions are like the bottom half of the red part..this is the pic of the tails i bought.

Went to car show today with 60+ really nice cars, trucks, and motorcycles. This is the first show this year that I forgot my camera... grrr! They handed out the top 15 awards and they did not call out my number, so I started packing up my show gear when they called out top truck, top motorcycle, and then best-of-show... Black Betty!!!! Woo-hoo! She didn't get a giant trophy, just this swell plaque...

Attended the M1 Concourse VIP/invite only show. Was glad the GTO made the maiden voyage on the new cooling system after tweekin on it all day before the show. From Exotic's to Rat Rods the BEST of each catagory was there. Treated to automotive celeb's, local news channels broadcasting live, awesome chicken/ribs dinner...all you can eat. UGH Check out the link.

No awards...LOL This place was dripping $$$$ from every car there. It's not me. I was representing Gold Eagle and put 3 nice packages of product/apparel up for doorprizes and guarenteed a booth space at his next event.

I am going to just make up what happened to killerspeed. He picked up a young lady at a truck stop. When she abruptly moved her head he spilled his poutine and Tim Hortons coffee on the floor. The coffee burned his hand causing him to jerk the wheel to the right. Apparently the young lady has a cut on her head from his belt buckle.

Rain today kept me off the roof again. So I started in on the Sunbird. Ran up to the parts store and can't buy JUSTA clutch disk. (was going to put it together with my old Pressure plate) 125.00 for a whole kit and a useless pressure plate. I don't think so. STOMPIN around the internet again and found by accident Advanced Adaptors. They have a FLAT flywheel for my car!!! Almost 400.00 + clutch kit. But I can buy my parts over the counter again! Calling them 1st thing in the AM. Gonna toss the car back together with the 4cyl setup I have, to get er on the road for The Dream Cruise this weekend. I HOPE.

I hit a massive hole caused by construction.... it was deep enough that the floor of the car hit the pavement.... and to top it off if i want insurance to cover it they will report it as a "at fault accident" which screws me over big time. So im going after the construction company, sucks because i was planning on going to the dream cruise this year again

Guess I won't complain about our potholes anymore. That sucks Killa. So mad about clutch issues really didn't pay attention to the massive rain storms I was driving in. Detroit area is completely under water. Pic's of semi's on I-75 completely covered over the top of the trailer. Glad to get this outta the way and time to dry out before Woodward. Just watching Warren by the GM tech center on the news. 5in of water in a couple hours stranding thousands on their way home from work. Couple more minutes and I can try and call about the flywheel.

Heard about those storms. Must be what we got last week. We got 7 inches of rain in less than an hour, streets were flooded from lakes/canals/the ocean and not passable. Had to literally weave in and out of streets downtown to get back home. Luckily the G6 didn't turn into a boat.

Killerspeed101... so sorry about your GP! Dealing with the insurance company can be a real drag- when you need them, they usually force you to do all the work and then pay as little as they can get away with. Also, I will never ever complain about our potholes- apparently you guys are dealing with moon craters!

My truck now has a full exhaust and not just turndowns in front of the axle.

Took some pics of it, Semi driveable with a new control arm, tie rod and one of my old rims and tires on it, still need to swap the subframe and bang out the floor

After burning through 3 tanks of gas 180.00 worth (16gal)and about 300miles of crusing...I let er rest. 6mi to the gallon. Maybe a couple more carbs would help with the milage?
