Bloody hell - the shitstorm just keeps on coming at your place. I can only hope that your neighbour has insurance and that everything gets fixed up.

Have a beer...it won't help but it can't hurt.

Dude - glad you and the missus are okay, first and foremost.

Let us know the damage assessment once you can see more clearly in the light of day. Act of God for sure on this one. Insurance man is going to love this......

Good luck buddy! Call me if you need anything.

So I had a DR app early today.  Powers out everywhere, tree's down everywhere.  Got the modem and computer up, but no TV to watch the news.  Had no idea how bad the storm was.  So I get home to find the neighbors cutting and hauling the brush off the yard.  Trunk is still on the garage, but Propped up with 4X4's to keep the weight off, can see better on what happened.

Think I got away without bending the trailer tongue,  jack is destroyed and the fascia is tore up.  left side post is bent in half and down into the fascia.  Neighbors cleaned up that whole damn mess.  Hoping Ins will pay to have it removed from my roof and off the trailer so I can move it. Justa glad everyones OK.  If that would have hit his house, as It's been leaning for years, it would have went through his house like butter and their bedrooms are right there.

Thankz guys. Could have been so much worse, didn't hurt anyone, both my Pontiacs are OK.  Both the daily drivers didn't get a scratch. All the patio furniture N basic yard stuff has been returned to the right neighbors.  POWER is back on already.  Got it back about an hour ago.  Shocking!!! LOL  Our power company is forcasting 80% will have power returned by Thursday.  Just watching the news and this storm was huge. Sadly there have been a number of people died and hurt from downed power lines.  There were those that were hit with tornado's and others by what they are now calling GUSTnato's.  Could that be a SPINOFF from Sharknato's??:slap:

I feel for you buddy! Damn shame about the trailer. Looks like it’s a black locust tree!? If so wow! Those are one of the heaviest trees per square inch & pound per pound. I had six on my property when I built my house, I took them all down, to problematic for my liking.
It’s great that your neighbors pitched in & helped clean up! Those are good folks.

Damn your luck here lately bro. Justa know yall are in our prayers brother. Glad everybody made it through whole.

Spent the day with the chainsaw. 4X4 braces, floorjack, chains N my HD Comealong.  All keeping the trunk stabil until I could get it all on the ground without causing any more damage. Mess is cleaned up.  Retrieved the trailer and bought a new jack, taillight kit with all new wiring. The jack during the death spiral cut my harness in 2 places.  Roof has a few holes N crushed outside driprail edge. Back to the Bird tomorrow.

Stayed out in the garage last nite til I got the V6 buttoned up.  Rope seal in the timing cover, got a bunch of stuff off the floor and back on the motor.  Finished the trailer with new jack and was able to get the side rail back in place with a bottle jack and got that outta my way this AM.  Still need to have someone follow me N make sure it's tracking straight. (the tongue is slightly twisted) Touch up a couple places in the engine bay and figure out some way to run the hydraulics so I can top it off N make sure it's not leaking.  Then I can put the beast back in the box!!!!  Got 2 days to get er running for the Labor Day show.

New heart has been transplanted.  Ran the hydraulics off the jump box.  Leaked bad...  Dug up my spare lines again and the 1st one I grabbed had a larger hose.  Wouldn't work, but the 2nd did.  So thats working.  Cars back up on the ramps.  Will start workin on the flywheel, clutch, trans tomorrow.   Son in law picked me up some muratic acid for the radiator.  Now they are calling for rain Sat and Sunday, justa make my roads all mudd.  Finally making some real progress.

From flywheel to driveshaft was installed today, starter gave me such fits I QUIT for today.  Finally got it in and tightened the motor mounts.  Exhaust tomorrow N drop the Sunbird on the floor.  Then cleaning and polishing the intake, blower as assembling and Muratic acid the radiator and clean.  Justa need a battery and should be able to fire the beast up.  Also have to drop the starter back in the GTO, Thats NOT my problem.  It's in the wiring or it's the ignition switch.  If anyone has a lead on a switch please let me know.  Took months to find a used one many years ago to get the car on the road.  Frosty...know anything about the Fall Golling show? Usually the day before Sellars.

mate thats life for ya!

Could have lost em both when the tree came down on the garage.  Justa glad I have em to play with.  Gettin too old to spend this kind of time on my back, on cement.  Trying to crab walk with my shoulders.  Bench pressing transmissions into place. Garage is NOT a Mahal and will not fit a lift.  I can only admire those that do......

Justa- You asked about the Golling car show - here is the skinny....

...and before you ask...here is the info on Sellers.

I doubt I will make either show. I have a Michigan football game on the 17th, which I normally would give up. However, I gave up the game tickets on the 24th instead to be in WV for the WV Drag Racers Hall of Fame Cruis' In and Induction Ceremony in WInfield WV (outside Charleston). That show runs from 3-8 pm on Saturday night. With a 7-hour drive home, not sure I will get any sleep and still make Sellers. I will probably opt for sleep.

Thankz, But the 17th is JustaG6's wedding. That is the 1st I've heard of the Sept, last of season Golling show.  Just received a packet from USMA and there was no mention of the 17th.  This might be the last show for Rockin Ronnie.  I'm pre registered for Sellers.  Mike saw BB, but you were not around at the Labor day show.

Depending on when he was there, I was either

1. Walking around taking pictures

2. Looking at the rummage sale - nothing worth buying

3. Eating a cheeseburger or a coney island

4. In the restroom
