I hated the sound of the single factory horn on my Vibe, so I was able to find a set of Toyota Camry Low and High horns that are a direct fit for my car. No more moped horn 🙌🏻  I’m including videos of the factory horn sound, and my actual car with the new horns installed.

After sitting for 4 years with no love what so ever .. I have started on a refresh of my girl I have owned for over 25 years ….

I have spent all my spare time on my 64 bonneville and the Camaro sat with no start ups no driving … so this weekend 

I did a complete 101 on her 

new fuel , new hoses 

new oils , new battery , plugs , filters .. 

and this week , new tires 

 

The mission is to have her ready for beach hop 20th March 

and then Wanganui run in April. … Russel 

are you going to beach hop mate ?

All so took the mk 1 for a spin … but … 

didn’t think about how much fuel was in it !!! Hahaha 

And found there wasn’t quiet enough to get home !!! Haha .. was only a 500 m walk ! 

Charged the battery on the GTO and then put the charger on the Sunbird. Should be done whenever I get out there.  Heading for a new record temp again, shooting for 70 today.  Was near 70 earlier in the week, followed up by a full 50 degree's colder the next day.  PURE MICHIGAN.

i built it to learn how to do a stands alone fuel injection system, and it goes very very well ! 750kg car and 162 brake horse power at the back wheels 152lbft@ 5173 rpm out of a duratec engine out of a ford mondeo ..

i am selling it as i need the room to build the 63 and 57 !!

Ah...THAT'S why you wanted my address. I've been patrolling the Ponderosa with a shotgun for weeks.  International shipping costs are extreme atm. Tell you what - Kiwi & I can come over and collect. 

I've been hooked on the aussie border patrol on you tube. Wish we had the same protections you guys have! But then again i couldnt come back to the USA if we did LOL 

well i got the new cam in on my dirty girl. bought a new timing chain and gears,the rollmaster was loose as hell.went with the cloyes set up. the cam end play looks good now to change the valve springs for the new cam and hopefully do some smokey burnouts real soon, Anyone local need to borrow some tools i had to buy hit me up. thankfully i sold a bunch of appliance parts on feebay so nothing out of pocket right now. hell i even sold my old cam within days of pulling it out! win win! 

Stuck a new headlinner in the 72 today, any one think its worth me making a thread of how i installed it ? 

oopps sorry guys, justA slipped in a pic of my beef steak tomatoes in my hydroponics , they are a super nice size,, as big as my fist

Justa wanted to show that thumbnail.   We've all been there.  👍 Badge of honor,  unless ya did it on a Prius.

We took the Camaro on a club dinner cruise tonight ….. 

And we are lucky to be alive !!!

we had a club dinner cruise tonight . We met at the club rooms . And headed off , 20 mins out of town a car came around the corner out of control  .. I was following my mate in his 69 mustang .. it hit him , then barrel rolled towards us . I had fractions of a second to make the call on which way to go to miss this thing that was upside down in the air flying at us !!!

I choose to point the Camaro into the grass , not knowing if it was a big ditch or what ever !!! 
it missed us … just  A … 

 

it was a little Toyota … all its front suspension flew off 

my mates car is stuffed 

we ended up dodging a bullet I feel 

When we got home I had a close look at the Camaro .. we lost a whole bunch of paint on the front and passenger side from flying glass !!! 

we where really close to being taken out like the mustang …
