My point exactly.  You can't be too careful when dealing with these folks from Floridastan. If they can infiltrate my bathroom...whats next?   Probably right here from my PC.

Love the Spaniel !!💓 Frosty, won't be in Frankenmuth!😷 Had a Mild Heart Attach on Monday Evening and just got home from Hospital!! Stents clogged up, but couldn't replace, had to balloon them. Further treatment to follow! Sucks! was looking forward to going!! Not many bites on the Bonneville, one guy backed out, but still for sale if you hear of anybody $21,500 buys it !! Have a good weekend and Ringo keep that pup Clean.!!

JustA, I’m just reading most of this now, but you mention the temp issues with the bird. That’s what I’ve been doing for 4 days with the Indian. I probably haven’t put 250 miles on it this year, but last Friday I took it to the store & when I got home I see, low coolant light! Really! I found that and to believe! Popped the radiator cap, radiator is full. Must be the sensor in the radiator, crap. But the real surprise was the crap on the cap & the neck. Bought a new sensor , drained the radiator! Man this antifreeze is two years old & only about 500 miles. Looked like rust & chocolate milk! What the @%&#*.  Long story short I hate Dex-cool! I got rid of the crap a year after I owned the Indian & the shit still keeps on giving! Clearly I didn’t get it flushed out good enough even though I have changed & flushed the system many times in the past. This time I flushed it with blue devil radiator flush than 5 water flush’s than Irontite radiator flush & 5 more water flushes. Now it seems clean. What a pain!

Had the block done to remove all the jelly I posted about when I tore down the motor. This usually only happens when you mix 2 different anti freezes.  I had never done that, but then remembered I used Water Wetter, an additive that drops your operating temp 20 degrees. During Dream Cruise many years ago in frustration. It did work.  I only used water to start with in case it had to be drained after firing the motor.  Worked well for awhile but temp shot up on way home from the 1st gas station run.   Added Rislone cleaner thinking I somehow didn't get everything out of the Rad.  The only possible gunk catcher is the bottom of rad no matter how well I thought it was cleaned.  Work for DC and Labor day perfect 160 max temp. Will drain and add antifreeze before winter.  Only thing left to check is my intake for the exhaust backfire.  Doesn't make sense to me, but my machine shop owner said they had a prob that drove them all nuts this summer until they sprayed the intake and got a reaction.  Need to pick up some start fluid tomorrow N give er a try.

So a small shop by her house has looked at her Torrent 3 times about an issue with losing RAD fluid and the temp gauge only working here N there.  Last time saying it's a leaky Rad.  Never a drop in the driveway.  Not buyin it, esp since they are charging over $1200 to replace.  ( I can't do it as I have no catch for the A/C)  Dropped it at the only shop I trust and they called this AM to say it's a head gasket and too big a job for them.  Have a buddy that works from his shop that wants to check it out, but is too swamped to take on a head gasket job right now.  Job takes up a bay for too many days as they have the head checked for cracks, resurfaced, new gaskets ect. Doesn't make ANY sense to do one side, needs to be both. Have Keith check it out N see what he says.
