i am looking to sell it Dwight. i need to make room for a new toy

 

Tempting but I only have a 2 car garage. If I got it the wifes Lexus would need to go outside and that will never fly. I am sure not going to relegate the Pontiac to the driveway!

Looking back I should have done what I thought about when I was still single. Build a 40,000 square foot garage with an attached apartment. But at my age that is now dreams on a slide show.

So for years I have grabbed magazines in boxes at swap meets ... and they are cheap !! Way cheap compared with what we pay in a shop ...

Ok now this is cool !!! A hemi head on a Pontiac  427 .... I am going to scan this 5 page write up and post it... it’s a very cool read !

Kiwi - get yourself a copy of the March 1968 Hot Rod. It feature the legendary Mac McKellar, Pontiac's chief engineer over engines. It's a great read.

I still have a ton of my ol mags.  Including the 1st one I bought back in elementary school.  4th-5th grade.

Good God - tell me you're NOT laying in bed reading that. Is that a doona it's resting on? What's the Boss doing - making you a Dagwood sandwich? If I read that before trying to sleep I'd be twitching all night.

My current night time read is called Exactly. It's a history of precision. Yeah, I know. I'm as mad as you are.

I am on holiday at the beach 👍👍👍

All I have been doing is eating left over Christmas ham , fishing , reading and beers with the neighbours 

i have this great big box of old hot rod magazines with tons of pictures !!!

its that time of year to bail the hay ! 

We didn’t need any for ourselves this year but my neighbour does 

so we had the contractor bail and we trailered it next door ... son in law enjoyed the ride !

Shaw was mate, you cant see it but the tractor had the transport tray on with the daughter, boss, and the grand kids sitting on the bails.!!
