    • Yeah, I'm hanging out for a decent break and am getting excited too. I'll have a think about Bathurst. When I was younger I actually went with some mates to Bathurst to see the race trackside twice. In latter years I would watch it on the telly with drinks & snacks (and a convenient toilet) at hand. The last time I tried to watch it, I got bored. BUT I am easily swayed and I reckon the missus & me would both relish a day apart, so I am quietly confident...and thanks for thinking of me. For that alone, you'd think I'd be polite enough to attend! Where there's beer and salty snacks, I am easily led. Hey - do you want anything specific brought over? I've got some Rockauto magnets for you so far.
    • i am soo loooking forward to catching up with you and your boss !!!  my boss informed me that the weekend your in Taupo ... the sunday is bathurst !!!!! now .... how do you fancy doing bathurst at our club ? we will be heading there at 11 am and wont be home till .some time after the sun has gone. its all subject to wheels falling off, roos on the track, rain and all the fun sh-t you get with bathurst have a think about it,,, yes your boss will need to know too !!. but its justA option, you may not fancy sitting in a club rooms drinking and eating for 9 hours.   let me know your thoughts
    • nice handy work mate  i have my dual master sitting waiting until my girl is all legal then i will stick it on so i dont have to get a big $$$  certifcation for modifying the car !!!! 😡 need to chat but will do it on your thread !
    • I'm in the middle of my last R&R before heading off to annoy Kiwi. GP is running very nicely at the moment so of course I need to fiddle with it. I always had a little surface rust on top of the master cylinder cap and booster but never did anything about it because the master will eventually be replaced with a dual and whilst that's happening I can chuck some paint on the booster BUT I was bored and they spoil the look of the engine bay more than you might think, so took the cap off, sanded & wirebrushed it down to almost bare metal and etch primed, chrome painted & clear coated it. Then left it in the sun to bake the paint on. I thought if I very carefully masked the booster's surroundings and associated hardware I could get away with a deft application from a rattle can. So after a light sand, I did just that and as carefully as I could painted the front of it. The only overspray I managed was a tiny dab on one of the bolts protruding from the master. I made a bowl of masking tape stuck to the rattle can top and sprayed some black paint into it then used a stick as a paintbrush to dab a little paint on the overspray. I also finally got around to removing that useless POS regulator from the firewall. Self regulating alternators are the duck's guts! Can't wait to get to NZ and bore the tits off Kiwi.
