Looking for parts 70 cat convertible

Featured Replies

Looking for ideas on upholstery for my Cat, I can't find anything except yardage , does anyone know if a 70 paressiane cat upholstery with fit? Are the seat frames the same size? I also need a fuel tank sender or a new tank that fits and uses the newer style float. I appreciate any help thanks.

Hello Al,

Take a look at the "Tanks, Inc" site and search for their TM37C-T tank. Its from a 1965-66 Chevy Impala and its a fuel injection tank but that aspect is not a show stopper. It fits, is two gallons larger and is what I'm running. I also put an armless, 0-90 ohms float assembly in mine. Works great.

I went with a tan & light green plaid for the upholstery in mine from a company called "Relicate". You will also likely need all new seat foam and I did not do an upholstery kit, this was yardage. Look carefully in the seat springs of your seats and if you are lucky, you will find perfectly usable factory build sheets for your car. There's also probably a sheet behind the sound deadener board behind the upper back seat section.
