For the last 3 winters i have been trying to get myself a couple of Milwaukee heated hoodies for work, and every year i miss out on what comes into nz and its all pre-ordered  !! ( i am too slow!!)

last year i managed to get 1 hoodie and i have saved that one as "best" for rod runs and other dress up times where i need to stand out side late into the night.

Last  year our local Milwaukee agents suggested we do an order early ! like october 2021 ! early !!

today ... may 13th 2022 we got my 2 hoodies and 2 for the boss !! i will get them embodied with our company logo next week, but for today i wanted to trail one out !!

i hate being cold! thank you Mr Milwaukee !!

If I have to choose between cold and hot I will generally choose cold. Your can always put on more clothes' but in the heat you can only take off so much.

The reason that everything I own has heavy duty A/C.

Kiwi promised me we could borrow one of his cars when we visit later this year. I get the horrible feeling this is the one he meant. Mate - it's not purple nor Hemi powered, although it will use considerably less fuel, especially since it looks like we'll have to push it around.

Kiwis are funny. They have a real soft spot for old British built automotive atrocities. Zephyrs, Cortinas & Escorts were all standard fare for NZ & Oz in the 60s & 70s. It seems Australians learnt more quickly that once their Morris or Austin broke down in the middle of nowhere, they would trot off to the nearest Holden or Ford dealer and get something a bit tougher. I love reading about British cars because they were designed in stark contrast to whatever the rest of the world was producing. The Yanks had firebreathers and chrome mountains, the Euros produced spanky little sports cars, Australia turned out stoic solid basic transportation that had to be dirt road tough and the Poms were mired in tradition and stuffiness and cursed with narrow roads and expensive petrol, produced sad looking soggy gutless contraptions like Wolseleys and Austins, etc. Of course, these are generalisations. Some Euros were garbage and some Brits were stunning.

So Kiwi, the Escort panno. Is this the 'surprise purchase' you were alluding to some months ago, or is there something else on the way too? I've been away for almost 3 weeks at work and am just now catching up.

mate !!! i bought the van especially for you and your boss to drive around in !! it even has a heated rear screen to keep your hands warm while your pushing it through the snow !!!!

Has your wife left you yet? If mine saw me dragging that piece of fine British engineering & craftmanship home, as it was entering the property she'd be exiting and I would be agreeing with her.

Yes, they CAN be worth a few (FEW) dollars but uh, that'd be for a whole one. I think you have perhaps half a car there - the rest is either ferric oxide or where metal used to be. I can only hope you have regained your faculties and buried it somewhere before we turn up in September. Get that Challenger cleaned up so we can use it, will you? Will it take 2 suitcases in the trunk?

You did get a nice trailer hitch ball out of the deal.  Momma's got to LOVE that yard art.
