Here's one of my setup. Shot with my friends digital camera, so not the best sound quality in the world. It sounds great in person.

Sounds pretty good!!!

Could be on a better cam. This is a before and after of my headers with a magnaflow catback. Just a few revs each.

G8 GT exhaust

This is the same one that's in my welcome thread. Just figured it belonged in here, too. Enjoy!

It's amazing how similar the LZ4 sounds on the inside to my GA's LA1 with intake and exhaust.

So I finally got around to get an exhaust clip of my 6.... Be warned you're gonna see mostly blue because I simply laid my phone on the grass facing up... this was done in a hurry, I'll get a better one later on.

Hmmm, wonder if I can find a vid of the Talon's exhaust, sure is wicked, 3" straight pipes off the manifold down to a highflow muffer, HKS setup of course :)

No one else has an exhaust clip? Here is a little clip of the goat.

Here are a few vid’s I made while playing with a new GO PRO not the best but still had some fun.

A little background:

The Pontiac Overhead Cam 6 was one of many pet projects of John Delorean he always liked the European aspect of the motor world and this was a major influence with many of the projects during his time at Pontiac.

Even the choice of naming the cars was driven by this passion, i.e. GRAND PRIX, TEMPEST, LEMANS, and GRAND TRURISMO OLMOLOGATO (GTO)

With the OHC I guess they really wanted more than just the allure of a euro type engine but the sound as well.

The OEM exhaust was set up to create the sports car sound and was all part of the Sports Package upgrade over the base 1bbl OHC engines.

The Sprint/Sports exhaust used a 4” and/or 5” diameter 28” long muffler backed by a resonator and 2.25” pipe topped off with the chrome trumpet tip. The true tune/note is something that IMO what makes this engine complete.

There are many who have added headers and other modifications to the OEM exhaust but loader isn’t better with this engine and nothing seems to sound as good as the stock set up.

So it was my intension to try and capture this with the vid’s but I’m still working with the camera so I hope you enjoy my first attempts and I hope to get some improved Vid’s at the start of the 2012 season.

Most of my videos of my exhaust sound like crap, but here is one with a very good quality camera:

$40 muffler with a $10 muffler tip. Nothing fancy, until next year :willy_nilly:

Wow... I can't believe I never posted mine in here!

Here's the old G6 and the old GTO:

3" SS exhaust with long tubes, magnaflow cat and Borla muffler. All DIY.

I need to add a resonater bad.

98 VQ35 Infiniti i30:

3" SS exhaust with headers and DIY Y-back using a Magnaflow cat/res/muffler. The resonator is physically the largest that would fit in the exhaust tunnel.
