Yeah there was a lot. Some of it did go all of the way through, didn't take pictures of all of the new metal that was welded on.

This was about three weeks ago, we fixed my horribly rusty battery tray, apparently they like to rot on Fieros: More powder coating and stuff will be done soon, when I have money... starting to exhaust my funds on this car. Especially because the turn signals keep on failing to function. Replaced the flasher once already, failed again a week ago and I have parked it for now.

The wheels are Nexo PX-5. They are 17's. I would love to drop the Fiero but for now, I need to spend money on more important things. $1200 for a kit is a bit pricey for me right now. Also, the other images I forgot to load: We decided to try out the interesting system that the Fiero uses. What I mean by this is that if it is equipped with the Sunroof, you can take the glass out and store it under the hood. Which we tested and thought it was awesome. We also took the seat covers off to inspect how bad the seats are. They are actually in pretty darn good shape. Minus the one tear on the drivers side. A bit of exciting stuff today!!! Some more pics of the most recent updates (May 3rd 2014). Cleaned the Canards out, need to be powder coated sometime. Test fitting the 17's Yup, look really good on here! Took the busted fender off to test fit the new one. Looked VERY promising, unfortunately it was catching on the door, something with the door. I'm the only one here in town. There used to be two red ones and a black one, they all have vanished Hopefully getting the windows working today and replacing the busted fender with the new one that came with the car.

I've been looking into swaps. The guy I purchased it from wanted to restore it and do a 3800 Series II Supercharged swap. I'm thinking the same thing lol

I'm back after a long absence. Long story short I picked up this car last weekend from a buddy. 1985 Pontiac Fiero 2m4. Needs lots of small things to make it nice again. Car came with a new headliner, engine mount, window switch for the passenger side, fender (current one has a chunk missing lol), GT rear bumper and GT sideskirt. Already replaced the motor mount, air filter, fixed the cargo dome light, changed the oil and oil filter. Car is going into the shop friday to have the serpentine belt replaced. Hopefully on Saturday I can have the driver side window working (I think its slightly off track) and get the passenger side window working also. I have the switch, just need to take replace it. Indeed so. Car is still going well. Need to do some work to it in the spring though. Taking the HIDs out, fixing the wiring in the rear (one of the LED side markers was flickering, and when I went to look at it, it died. Wire is bad somewhere). Probably removing the LED tails and going back to stock and doing some other minor stuff. Why you ask? Because I was offered a amazing deal and I am leaning towards trading my Sunfire for Sadie's Dad's Cavalier LS Sport. I want to, but then I feel like a traitor Sooo clean and a pretty much straight up trade is too awesome to pass up... Although thanks to my new job and making good money now I will be purchasing a Fiero hopefully sometime this year lol

So, just to let everyone know, I am not dead. Car is alive too. My job just really eats up my freetime until the weekends.

Yeah you could say that. I'm sure something along those lines could of been achieved this weekend too if I wasn't on my death bed all week :'(

Oh. We were very busy that weekend. I got wasted with a few of my car buddies. There probably could have been more if my phone didn't die. lol

So she cleans up nicely hah! Kind of a old picture, a week or so. Not much has changed. Getting rid of the silly red dome and trunk LEDs. Ordered some white ones. Other than that, not much has changed lol

So the noises have quit, aside from the possible the strut noise, its not as noisy now though. Anyway, so we had a "blizzard" but I don't think it was. I think we got maybe 6-7 inches. Lots of blowing snow though. Anyway, this was after it ended and I drove home: Didn't have too much trouble navigating in the two days of nothing but snow and wind. Didn't get stuck anyway.

Well we did some research and apparently lots of Sunfire and Cavalier owners have the same issue. Apparently it could be a wheel cylinder? Never even heard of it. The noise has stopped again too. As for the clunking in the front when turning, we did some investigating on that and it might be the right strut mount. Mark said it seemed to have a bit more play. If it gets a little nicer out we will have to jack the car up and take a better look around in there.

Just when I thought I was finished with repairs... So for as long as I can remember my car would make a slight clunk when turning left or right sharply, well now its louder and more frequent. I am up by valid and snowblindburd right now and we will be checking the out sway bar and end links later this morning. Also, a old issue of mine has also re-appeared. Every once in awhile under braking the car would pretty much make this noise: />http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc3BmtLJ2cY After snowblindburd (Mark) did some research for me and after I asked around, it sounds like the wheel cylinder could be sticking. Don't really have the time or tools to investigate that at this time. Might have to have a shop look at it. I am hoping to at least get the clunk sound fixed, hopefully the end links are bad and not the sway bar itself.

Yeah I am really thinking that blue. However the actual color will be a bit darker, I guess they guy added in some white when he painted it. But either way, I am liking that blue lol
