i have on hand a 1963 389 motor complete, i have the runner 1970 350 thats in the car and i have a mate who has a 400 block he can sell me, the goal, is a drivable street engine but i want it to have plenty of get up and go and sound the part !

the Boss is moaning that i am not working on her wagon !!! so i best get my A into G and get that Ls in the frame !

ah ! frosty they are old school and thats me to a Tee 

New starter arrived today, these are built here in nz and this is my 5th road runner starter ! not one of them has failed on me !

and as this will be going on a new built engine i ordered the bigger 1.4kw model 

i am running the 1.2kw on the 64 behind the 389, which is the trans mounted version... this ones engine block mounted

A lift so your not on your back installing the starter!

Like me you do not have a lift soooo... ya need the beer as inspiration to crawl under the car.

the down side is i need to get the starter on to get the 68 into the shed to get it on the hoist!!!!

What do you mean get out? Beer is better when it's cold, unless you are one of those UK/Euro wankers that love their beer at room temperature.

having justA been to London, its safe to say they do have cold beer  i sampled many a cool one !!! and they where dam spiffing 

English beer is liking making love in a canoe, damn close to water, as my Scottish relatives would say (my aunt ran a pub and restaurant in Hamilton). That's probably why most British Open golf tournaments are held in Scotland and not so much in England. To avoid the bad beer.

68 looks wayyy better with some tidy wheels on her, and now i have the brakes working !!

didnt get time to do a test drive but shes ready !!
