    • That crappy old fuse panel...I tore mine out and replaced it with a modern blade fuse panel with 12 circuits, including a common earthing point. Cheap & effective. I tried to restore the original, but really? Glass fuses? In 2024? Anyway, your progress is impressive.
    • Ah, l'escargots. I'm ashamed to admit this but the last time in Paris, despite the waiter gently admonishing me for not even trying them, I had a cheeseburger instead! Two nights we ate in the same cafe and were offered the snails but I stuck with the cheeseburger - twice. I gotta say - it was a burger par excellence. It was made with finely chopped eye fillet steak, pressed into a patty and cooked medium rare. Friggin' excellent. So...humour me. How were the snails? They should have been chewy if prepared correctly. I suppose you can swallow anything if there's a beer close by. We went out for lunch at Port Douglas today and I had the Reef And Beef. Really good. I thought about your trip whilst I was chowing down and have planted the seed in the Boss's head for a 6 week holiday in UnZud - perhaps in the Spring.
    • While in the bar at our motel we met a nice couple from South Carolina , retired educators and they where here to go on a cruise , it’s great meeting people from all over ! , on the Eurostar train we met a couple from Canada that where hop skipping around the globe house sitting !
    • Looking good Ron  I would use a rust Treament then justA coat of wd40 on those fuse saddles  Wrongway is the man to ask about 63 wiring , but I think he is away at the moment , I am sure he will see your post sooner or later 👍
    • I finished putting together the interior today... Now the next project is to reinstall the gas tank and fuel lines...  Leaving the disk brake kit for last.. never did one before.     BEFORE AFTER
