After years (many years) of searching, discussion, debates, and disagreements, my wife, daughter, and myself almost decided on a medium to dark blue metallic, UNTIL our POCI Chapter’s visit to 3 Dog Garage last spring.

It was there that we fell in love with the color of the Lloyd Bakan 1932 Ford coupe, a period hot rod that had appeared on the cover of Rod & Custom in 1957.
Not wanting a custom mixed paint color for reasons of possible future repairs, I found a close factory color,  BMW Sunset Orange Metallic.

Sorry for the long story, I’m much better now 😵‍💫

Frosty hasn't been by in awhile, but everytime he farts....we get this.   Bit off a lil more than I could chew.  Hip got sore real quick and the back chimed in with sympathy pain.  Ended up gettin the main stuff done and the Sun helped melt the pavement.  Sunbird is taking longer than expected to charge, but it is a trickle charger.  Both of our dailys are riding on new tires finally.

What do you mean I haven’t been by? I haven’t left since Christmas! We keep getting bonus snow courtesy of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, depending on which way the wind blows!

That's a great idea for clearing the driveway!  Have always loved winter, snowmobiling, like Frosty...skiing, ice fishing, skating, pond hockey, downhill sledding, ect.  The pump is a cover for my well pipe.  As a plumber you might be interested to know I'm 132 ft down and use a 5hp pump.  I have a bird bath in front of it for decoration and my birds thank me.

Good clear water, high in minerals can be a pain, but no rust like many.

Thanks....The chair came from BJ's Wholesale Club. The Pontiac Logo cloth patch, I brought on eBay. I used Gorilla Ultimate adhesive spray and clamped to attach till dry.

What's this thing "snow" you guys keep talking about?
I checked my old school notes, & I see that for this to exist you need to have a lot of cold weather, is that right?
If that's a yes, count me right out🥶🤣

Yes mate - this is a consequence of living near the 45th parallel (half way between the equator and the North Pole).

Justa, Indyman Joe and I are happy to send you some snow. We have plenty.

My daughter N son in law justa came back from a snowmobile trip last week.   4ft snow on ground.  No where near records, but glad I don't have to shovel it!

That's gotta be a joke?
Surely nobody would choose to live anywhere near there?

Hey @64 kiwi boni, not really sure atm - it depends upon who you choose to listen to 🤷‍♂️

Around here we typically get a lot of rain, beach washouts, some localised flooding etc at this time of year. We've had the tails of Cyclones eery other year or so, but that just usually means we get some great surf 😎

However, all reports have had it tracking south, & all the wind & rain from it have been on the south side of it due to the wind direction. Latest report though is landfall may be tomorrow, further north than originally expected. So we may yet see some activity.

Right now though, it's pretty calm, we've had just a little rain, & I'm still hoping to go to a couple of Cars and Coffee at the weekend.

Ah good Paul

it’s way south of fitzy

and he’s over cyclones up his way !

where are you ?

We're in Paradise my friend, which geographically about 1500kms South of the great @Fitzy

I'll define my "Paradise" claim for those whom may be wondering...

1. As far North (on the East Coast) as you can go where you can still get good surf regularly

2. Speaking of surf...you can actually swim in the ocean here year around (water temps typically 22-28 degrees) without fear of a) microscopic jelly fish that can stop your heart upon contact, b) boat size crocodiles that have the capacity to swallow you whole, but still much rather tear you to bits first (uneccesary, really), c) tiger sharks as big as Japanese mini-subs, that can travel at the speed of light, d) regular weekly rainfall figures that outdo most Rainforests annual stats, e) annual cyclone seasons, f) constant, ridiculously high humidity that has mushrooms growing on any organic matter that stops moving for longer than 30 seconds (yes, that includes your underarms and ballsack)

😁
