When I was in London last in 2016, Big Ben was under restoration and had scaffolding everywhere  .

We got to go to the top of the Shard though. That was cool. Have a bar up there that is basically a greenhouse.

Hell of a trip, pretty awesome but it sounds like you are going to need a vacation after all the walking 🙂

Good ol' London. It's most defining feature is that constant low grey cloud. The sun DOES exist, but you'll never see it.

We have just flown from London to San Francisco,,, but check out the pictures flying over green land and northern Canada!!! 

Safe trip home you guys!

We had justA 1.45 hr lay over in san Fran before our flight back to Auckland …. This all took 36 hours from leaving London till getting in the gate at home !!!! , 

BUT , 

not without a kick in the guts at the Auckland airport , where we had the cat valet parked !!! , the f—$@&!?ers knocked the front nose cone on something white and made of concrete !!!

I was not happy with them ! , 

I had a call from management , and they acknowledged, after they reviewed the pictures they took of my car when we dropped it off , the fact they had done the damage and would be fully refunding our parking plus full costs of the. Repair for the damage …

You bought food at an airport? I've already asked Frosty this - how much are we paying you???

I don't know about you guys but I limit my airport food to burger & fries IF I'm splurging. Why must they charge so much? Keep it reasonable and more peeps will buy. Sounds like Australia talked the world's airports to gouge once and never see them again.

Ahem...anyway, good trip. We're coming over to UnZud later this year. THIS time I want pizza at your place!

Mate , everything in the tourist areas of uk are expensive ! , that lunch at Heathrow was 64 pounds , but that was a cocktail , beer 2 meals and desert . So I don’t think that’s too bad 

we learnt years ago to be careful where you shop and eat , London pubs are best value for a basic meal , and the opposite end of the scale is to eat in your Mayfair motel …. Ok yes we had to try it !!! F..k it , it’s all part of the experience aye 👍

I will fire the pizza oven up and we can stare into the flames and talk about the world out there !!! Haha …

one thing that is evident to me with traveling through Europe … there’s a shit load of people going on holidays !!

Yes I know last Indian , I was thinking the same thing ! Mr Eiffel built a tower for the world fair , the Chrysler building was for people to work in , big diff ! 
non the less , impressive to look at , and so glad they didn’t pull it down in the 20’s like they planned, that would have been a waste. 
last Indian , the one thing I enjoy about traveling is looking at how stuff has been built ! I dont care if it was built yesterday or 400 years ago, I have an appreciation for the men and woman who physically built them 🙏along with what they built them out of !!! 
I have seen a far share of stone in the last 3 weeks and that in its self is a hard product to build from !
