I didn’t see that coming. NNW isn’t typically Canuckistan to my way of thinking, coming from London. Ireland, Iceland, perhaps even Greenland, but not Canada.

So we are in the same hemisphere and continent then. You are only 3 hours behind me now! Been to Vancouver many times to go skiing up at Whistler. It’s my favorite ski resort in North America. I want to get to Victoria Island some day. The islands/fjords along Imperial 99 highway from Vancouver to Squamish are gorgeous. There are some little hide away waterfalls along the way to Whistler too.

I too thought it was a funny way to get to Vancouver! Not a straight line at all ,,, but I did get to fly over Greenland again !!! And Wow what a view !!!!

You can see the ice moving down into the ocean breaking up

I spotted the wild fires , not sure where this is north/east of Vancouver, you can see the smoke in all the valleys for a very long way !!!

I read on the news they even have some kiwi fire fighters over here helping local fire fighters

Ah ! Have had a lobster roll frosty , and poutine is certainly on my list to try . Not sure about black bacon
