I will trade you weather conditions on just about any day from June 1st to August 31st - its an absolutely soul-crushing broiler down here in Louisiana. Getting up early in the morning is the only way to get much accomplished on a vehicle.

I feel ya, 95F with 88% humidity right now in Florida.

I took the battery out of Black Beauty tonight. I took it to Autozone and had it loaded tested. They tested it three times, it’s charged and will hold the load, so it passed. Now I need to consider and check the starter, starter relay, neutral safety switch, ignition switch or ground issues. Lovely. Can’t wait to jump into that sh*t! Especially pulling the starter……it’s the original! Ugh!

If these summers keep tracking to the hot extremes im putting A/C in the garage soon.

We are experiencing the warmest winter I have ever known - last night had a single sheet over us - it's supposed to be chilly right now. I suspect a hot summer is on the way followed by lotsa rain, so bushfires & floods then - in typical Australian fashion. The joint is either on fire or under water.

I found this on Facebook Marketplace In Chelsea Michigan, west of Ann Arbor. $400 for the pair!

But that’s not all!!!!!

This sign was thrown in the deal too!!!!

So these signs are going to go next to my Pontiac sign! All the stuff you see hanging to the right of the Pontiac sign are held in place with magnets and easily taken down and moved.

Unlike the Pontiac sign, the AC/GM sign has a metal frame behind it. Making it stiffer, heavier and much more awkward to move and handle. The Pontiac sign was two pieces, this is all one. This will be a 2-3 person job to mount these suckers!

Getting them home was a challenge. The sign sticks out past my tailgate 4-5 feet! I had to buy three 12-foot 2x4 boards from a local lumber yard. We screwed two of the boards to the AC/GM sign frame in order to make to it more rigid for the 90 minute drive home. We placed the smaller ACR sign on top and used two inch wide painters tape to secure it. The ratchets straps Justa got me were used to secure the signs. We even screwed one end of straps into the 2x4s

Well I had to fo the dirty deed! I had to put my babies to bed for the upcoming long cold winter. Jacob came and picked up his Hummer and started it. We moved cars around and seept the floor and emptied the trash.

The Roadmonster is the far left, Black Beauty is the far right. Up front is Lucy and Violet. I am standing where Jacob’s 2500 HD Silverado will go. He’s supposed to drop it off this weekend.

Never got the play by play on the power steering pump. Have the boy do it and knock down his space rental.
