Just in case anyone is wondering, a big family can drive to pickup an 11’ tree in a ‘64 Bonneville! We had some serious looks on the road. Who needs a truck when you have a Bonneville trunk?

Kid Rock once owned this car too. I remember seeing it at the Detroit Autorama a few years ago. In fact, he used it in his "Born Free" videoL

Also note the album cover......

This was originally Roy Rogers car. It was sold when the museum closed and his/hers collection of Dale Evan's  memorabilia were auctioned off.  Including Trigger.

Picked up some original SS wipers on eBay for Bonnie #2. Just cut some new wiper replacements to fit. Works great in original fashion now.

Bought this cool little, original dealer promo car. It Wes 65 but just saw one sell for over 400.00. I guess they didn’t make very many. I need to cut the top off and paint it my color. Nice addition at the car shows.

My Original motor has been torn down. Rings looked decent for a 64 motor with 100k. It looks like it was never touched. We did a .30 piston bore. Other bearings will stay original. Should be done in a few weeks. 3k for parts and labor from a great local machinists.

This type has a Mercury switch to turn on in the vertical(open( position. Maybe your switch went bad?

Of course you could lay in the trunk to see if it goes out. Just don’t fall asleep 💤

My GP also has one but like Kiwi's, has never worked. When you think of how we all have a LED torch in our phones now, that clunky old relic from yesteryear seems so quaint. Mind you, in the middle of the night on a quiet country road, I'm sure it was a godsend.

It’s probly where they got the idea for a light in the phone mate 🙄

Hummmm, your 64s and 65s had them. I wonder If my 63' had one? I didn't see any wires or marks. I'll have to look closer, there kinda cool.
