We are ordering our groceries online  and just picking them up at the store parking lot. They even load them in your car for you. We’re doing that on just about everything these days to avoid in-store contact.

Thanks Ringo! It beats an apartment if you don’t like that kind of environment, and I don’t! two different views on the patio.

I mowed and trimmed my yard for the first time this year....Depending on the weather...That will be a weekly chore from now until October..Doesn't look like there will be any racing at our local venue

I've toyed with doing that. Then I heard from a good friend (from Saginaw, MI) who ordered her groceries online through Walmart. Went to the store at the appointed time, parked in the designated spot, notified via the app that she was ready for pickup. A hour and forty-five minutes later they loaded the groceries in her car. She's a better soul than me to wait around THAT long. I'm sure that's likely not the normal but still, doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies about online ordering of groceries. Then again, it is Walmart... 🤪

We have used Walmart delivery or pickup throughout this whole pandemic and only once did they mess up. A driver cancelled on us when we did delivery and they didn't call us to reschedule so I had to call to reschedule. 1 out of doing this every other week for the past maybe 6 months isn't bad.

That was about a week and half ago. Scheduled a delivery for today so we'll see what happens.

Definitely something I wouldn't mind trying once I had a bit more land. Only undisturbed piece I have is around my pool which isn't optimal for growing plants.

Hey! That’s cheating! I have a hedge of arborvitae at least that tall 200’ in length & I have to stand on a 10’ step ladder 1 rung from the top, hold out a 7’ hedge trimmer to cut mine. Then move the ladder and do it again & again & again then go to the other side and do it all over again! 🥵 But they are nice! Yours I mean!

yes Last indian, its cheating allrighty !!:cheers:Haha,

i used to do what you do, and it would take me days to do the whole lot!!

The tractor did all sides in 2 hours and we paid him to do my neighbors hedges down our boundary line too, as my neighbor has left his too long and they where too high for him to do anything with!,

neighbor and i spent all Saturday cleaning it all up, the big blades throw the crap everywhere which is the down side🙄

and we where supposed to finish it all up today, but its raining !!!😡

Sooo cool. My front yard (much smaller) is edged in privot hedge. After 40 yrs they are almost out of control.  5ft tall and I can still do them every other week by hand, but wife could never keep up if something happens to this Ol fart. Really like the idea of an arm on the tractor.  scaled to my John Deere lawn tractor.

After kicking my self in the butt for denting the hood on the caddy !!! See my post in caddy thread !

we cleaned the caddy and did the annual Taupo Xmas parade with our 2 grand children , and had a ball

this was my grandsons first parade awake! As he was only one last year and slept through the whole parade !

This year he got to see it all and the park up afterwards included a festival and he really likes the fire trucks and the down hill derby carts

we finished the day up by heading back to the club rooms and having a bbq and beers

all in all a good day 🍻
