Thats exactly what I was thinking. I was thinking if he PCd them black he would have got some really ncie wheels, and MoonPie would have his mesh ones.

^THIS

Ahhh, shit. I can't do this for a hot minute. Withdrawn until further notice. I think my wife is in the middle of making a baby or will be soon.

Edit 3.0: if we trade wheels and tires, then maybe if they would fit over the brembos I'd roll.

Edit 4.0: and you'd almost have to powdercoat my wheels anyways, when I first got out of the hospital May 2009 from being in a coma I was all fvcked up and shit and drifted into a curb. I'm planning on doing it myself in a few months anyways.

I didn't know if you guys preferred footnotes as opposed to a bibliography so I went with the Edit X.0 system. Fail-safe.

I approve.

Looking into the swap now... I think they would look great, do you have pics of the "curb rash?" From what I'm reading right now is that the middle would have to be bored a little more than 2mm for it to fit on the hub of the GTO.

:lol2: IT'S So hard to find good wheels! :(

mark....i was so bored last night at work i thought about rims for the goat.....how about the g8 gxp rims...powder coat them black...i think theyd be cheaper and better looking....and there are as is

:lol2: IT'S So hard to find good wheels! ;)

No its not just look out your window............... see the blue GTO out there its got some killer rims. ;)

:(

Seriously, some Volk TE-37's in black, with a blue lip, you'll be so legit it'll hurt.

Manatee Mark,

I'll get some picks up this weekend.

g8 GXP rims do not fit a GTO. period. people have tried it and it doesn't work. it dont even think they are the same bolt pattern

my mistake, the bolt pattern is the same but the hub is a diff size

Thanks but I'm not a fan of mesh AND the lip is curbed on every wheel, courtesy of previous owner... (I park a foot away from curbs)

Ummm... If you can find them in my current set up size, I'll consider them. I do like the look of them but I just bought 2 new rear tires so I want to use them...

I really like the G8 wheels on the GTO, I'd say if you have the money to do it Mark go with that ;)

I would have to customize them by widening them though and THAT'S what will cost the most.

well if you HAVE ;) to get new rims how about these?

Tach(Machined w/Anthracite Accent) $169 (each)

Exactly what I meant by "have the money" lol. I really think the G8 rims will look good and keep a better feel to the car than going full aftermarket but I do like some of the ones Joe posted.
