A friend of mine owns a small engine shop and when he is busy I help out on saturdays and I can't tell you how many snowblowers and lawnmowers I "fixed" by putting gas in them...

My intro to business teacher strikes again....

I got written up for being tardy to class. I literally walked in less than 30 seconds after the bell. Are you f*cking kidding me? Everyone else hadn't even settled and gotten their notebooks out yet and this bitch asks me for a pass when I walk in.

To add to the frustration, I got a cut-slip for the same class from two weeks earlier. Basically a cut slip is given to you if you are on the class absent list but the school has you down for being in school.

If I don't get it resolved in 24 from the moment I get the slip, I get suspended. That is really f*cking stupid. To add to this: I WAS IN CLASS THAT DAY! It was the day that we took a chapter test so I told her to just f*cking look up my grade for the test in her gradebook, because obviously I had to be there to take it, but she told me to see her after school to solve this and I pretty much said FORD that. I would literally take a few minutes to get out the grade book, find my name, and then check the grade.

I just don't get it....

Sadly there are teachers who are out to get you. I had a teacher in high school where I literally copied my ex-gfs homework and she got an A and I got a C. We were allowed to "work together" so I confronted the teacher and got nowhere fast, he didn't budge. The teacher hated me because I was in Jazz band and we always took off to practice or go to a gig during the last block and that was that class.

This is why I don't miss school...at all.

I had a science teacher like that my 9th grade year back in high school. Oh sure, turning in papers on time, homework always done, never was late or skipped that class (for the first four months, ) but no...that bitch always gave me a passive aggressive, condisending attitude. Then again, I was just considered some "metal kid" back in the day, ooooooo. I WAS DIFFERENT LOOKING YOU GUISE! THAT MEANS I'M NOT NORMAL, AND I'M NOT DOING MY OWN WORK SOMEHOW, OHMIGAWD.

But eh...the world is filled with assholes, holding grudges for whatever reasons. People are always going to single out that one person they don't like, whether it's in the classroom, or the job place. I've seen my fair share of douchebag assholes, and it doesn't matter what sort of education you have...it's the same everywhere you go.

I find it ironic that society slaves for education, for a better paying job, better work environments, etc...when it's just all the same. Case in point, my rant awhile ago about my pops getting suspended from work. Highly "educated" IT workers and businessmen, being as petty and thoughtless as some two rate asshole "managers" in a chain run store, making just $12 an hour, kicking around workers making sub $10 an hour pay, held by a massive corporation that doesn't give a rat's ass about its employees.

Society in general sickens me, I know it's not exactly smart, but it's why I'll use stupid vices, like the internet, to just forget about reality's stupidity. I'm only 25, and I'd love nothing more to just not contribute to our fucked up society, country, just...everything. But that's not realistic, it just won't happen. As much as I can deny it...income is needed. But hey, I do have some good things in my life. You loveable buggers on here, my lovely g/f Jessica, a close group of friends, and my pile of shit to keep sucking away my income. And that's not counting when I sink money into the Galant.

I had one of my stepsons friends ask what my car is, he had never heard of a GTO. They are 16-17 and never heard of it. sheeesh.

It reminded me of a car show I was in back in 95. I had my 70 GTO convert in it and had just painted the thing 2 days before, it had no GTO stickers and the only pontiac emblem is on the dash, and the GTO emblem in the grill. Me and a friend of mine were BSin next to his car across the aisle and a couple of teenagers were looking all over my car and finally they asked another guy going by "what kind of chevelle is this?" Me and Tom almost wet ourselves laughing. Tom had a 56 fairlane entered it was a highboy drag car with the straight front axle. Some guy told his friend he would meet them by the 4x4 55 chevy.. refering to Tom's nostalgia drag car...

Makes me wonder about what hell rock these people crawl out from under...

I can see the G6 being asked. People have mistaken mine for tons of other cars.

When you have something iconic though like a GTO or a Camaro, they really have been living under a rock.

The funniest I've seen (although it WAS a little kid) was a car show back in '09, when my friend Lizzy was still living on LI, a little kid was walking by mine and Lizzy's GA.

The dad asked, "You know what cars these are?"

The little kid says, "Pontiacs!"

"What kinds of Pontiacs?"

The kid points at Lizzy's red GA.

"GTO!"

Lizzy and myself lol'd so hard.

I had a guy tell me that I had a really nice Oldsmobile.... I guess they missed the large Arrowhead on the front and/or the giant PONTIAC RACING DECAL.
