I will officially state that I despise winter, I had to shovel the roof several times already this winter, the last time it was 4 feet deep and rock hard, it's never been this hard to deal with before... my roof is leaking all over, my bedroom is soaked, good thing it's not filled with antiques, comics, books, photos and tons of irreplaceable memorabilia... (Oh and my sorry butt trying to sleep and stay dry) After the last time I cleared the roof I discovered that there was ice as much as 8 inches thick on the lower half, and I could not break it, had to drive to the city to get salt to try to melt it, but when it's colder then -20 salt is useless... so it just sat there doing little till a couple days ago, then it made it melt and flood through my roof again... I was awakened when the water started to drip on my bare legs... I was relieved it was the roof leaking and not me!

Spent a few hours breaking ice up there... got a lot of it cleared, but the water is still coming in... And did you know that once the snow is removed the insulative properties of it that had allowed the water inside the walls and roof to be fluid go with it, so that water then will freeze, and start making loud bangs and pops for hours, I shudder to think of the damage inside there now, some trim has popped off in places, siding too, the ice has ripped all my eaves troughs off the house, the shingles are ruined for the most part too... the other morning after being awakened by wetness again I noticed a buzzing sound, followed it to my computer... and discovered that the power cords were shorting out... computer seems fine, but how long till this place just up and burns because of a short?

this is the most snow we've had here in 30 years they say, and it's only going to get worse apparently...

I'm starting to think I might have to put my valuables inside a few of the cars just in case my house falls down or combusts or blows away because this is getting ridiculous.

On top of that all I have to drive right now is my 36 GMC, not that that is a bad thing, but my 94 Ford is more stable and better on gas and has 4x4 and an amazing heater, but it also has no brakes right now... and trying to work on it in the cold and blowing snow is not viable... My house smells like a I butchered a wet sheep with a bowl problem, I bet there is mold forming in my walls and my shag carpet (yeah, I have green shag because I'm freakin' awesome! I'm not a hipster, my house is just out of date)

This has happened steady over the last week, yesterday my dad wakes me up at 4 am and tells me there is no water, I also discover that the downstairs furnace (we have 2) is dead again, and the septic line I frozen... i have to crawl under my house and set up a heater for the septic (so glad it didn't burst the line) and I have to dig out my well cover under the 4 feet of cement hard snow and crawl inside by myself and try to get it all working... turns out that the power lines under ground have fried somehow, so i run extension cords to the well and have to put a heater in there to thaw it and make it all run again... takes all day, but I finally get running water late in the afternoon... I was so happy to be able to flush the toilet again!

Some millionaire out there want to drop me a spare million so I can build a house and a shop?

I have 4 strays living on my enclosed porch (it has a cat door on the side for my cats) and I can't throw them out because it is so damn cold here right now, my female cat (who was a drop off) just had 9 kittens, plus I have 4 other kittens I am taking care of and another adult cat... on the upside I have absolutely no mice at all, they do help me out there! (plus they eat spiders and flies when there are any LOL)

I have had a headache since a car accident in 2008 when a douche nozzle in a body-job blew a stop sign and I broad sided him in my dads beloved hot rod Lincoln... while my dad was a passenger... and this steady headache has been getting worse, and the heavy ones I get on top of it are getting more frequent and stronger... I have suffered migraines my whole life that are extremely bad and take me out of commission completely, sometimes for days at a time, and doctors know little about migraines, and most are ignorant about them and just look at me like a kid with a paper cut and say "just take an aspirin" as if that would even do a damn thing... I take large amounts of codeine and it just takes the edge off slightly...

My nose is itchy, but I just scratched my ass...

Every night I dream about 3 of my cars, my 31 Pontiac, my 82 LN7 and my 61 Monarch... and I can't work on them at all because of the snow... take a look!

Bloody hell. Tonight sucked ass.

For the past week, I've been chatting with this girl from Deer Park. She messaged me on one of the dating sites I use. Surprised me actually. After a few PMs back and forth, we exchanged numbers.

We texted often, and talked a lot. On Tuesday, she says she wants to meet Friday. Alright, cool. Seemed promising, shit...SHE stated a day she wanted to meet. Now...fast forward to today. I shoot her a text around noon...no response until 3pm. Thought that was odd, normally she texts back fairly quickly. The rest of the day, she hardly responds to me. I get outta work at 4:30pm, and I don't get a text until 6:30, she tells me she'll be free at 7:30. 7:00 rolls around, and she texts me the address to a Starbucks she wants to meet at. Now, Deer Park isn't exactly around the corner from my neighborhood. More like...28 miles away. She tells me to be at the Starbucks around 8:45. Alright then...

I leave around 8:10, gave myself some time to drive there. I arrive there around 8:40ish. Go inside, and chill on one of the couches inside. The place is rather empty, but I hate crowded places, so I didn't mind at all.

9pm rolls around...she hasn't arrived. I text her, asking where she is. She says she'll be there in a few. Alright...

9:30pm. Still not there. Shoot a text, no response.

10:00pm. Shoot another text, still no response. Now I'm frustrated. Still, I wait. I went out to my car, and got my iPod. Ended up getting sucked into a game (Angry Birds :my2cents: ) for another hour.

11:00pm. Starbucks is getting ready to close, I get fed up with the iPod and realize what time it is. I checked my phone...no texts. Now I'm pissed. I call her phone...no answer, try again, no answer again. Try one last time, SHE TURNS OFF THE PHONE. That set me off. I mean, what dick fawking move. Jesus fawking christ, man.

What the hell? My luck with women just continues to suck. I don't get it, I just don't fawking get it. GODDAMNIT. It's infuriating beyond belief, WHY ARE WOMEN SO BLOODY PICKY?! You know what? Chivalry is dead. I'll just be a straight up prick to every girl I try and date. Maybe then I won't get stood up for a date, and they'll show some actual interest in me.

Geeze man you got my luck... I tried the douche route once, and it worked, but it was so against my nature that I hated it... so I learned to cook and got a dog for companionship!

I was supposed to meet a girl tonight too... we were getting together around noon to spend the rest of the day/evening together... she texts me at noon and says she is busy, lets try for around 3... okay, text her at 3ish, nothing... she texts me at 5:45 asking what I want to do... (I couldn't tell her that LOL) but I text her back... nothing... hours pass and so do texts from me... nothing... so I look on facebook, shes been making posts all day, WTF? That's more important the getting together? Why do I even try.

I think women are just programmed to fawk with men. It's the only explanation.

I dunno, man. It's real simple, JUST SAY YOU DON'T LIKE ME. But no, they pull the mysterious act, so when we bug them because they run off, we look like douche because they don't feel like facing the music.

I hear ya. I know I'm only 24, but I want somebody. I hate the dating game, I can't do flings, no strings attached fawk buddies. No way. But that's what everybody seems to do. And at the same time, I'm not looking for a cute chick to quickly fall in love and get married with, and have the "LOL HAPPILY EVER AFTER" unrealistic goal either. That's just stupid. Ugh.

I really don't want to be left with the "lonely nice guy" stigma in my life. Yet...here I am. I can't get a date to save my life. And when I do get a girl's attention, they end up leaving me anyway, EVEN IF I MAKE THEM HAPPY.

When I quit my job, it should be better. Working with 100% guys is not the best way to get to know girls well. Bars are not for me, I was suggested gyms ? I need it and could be a good thing. :lol2:

I know there's one girl with who I get along amazingly well... but she has to live in Austria... :( I wish I'd be ready to move on to something better, but I'm kinda stuck right now. soon... :lol2:

I dunno anymore, J-S. Dating sites have gotten me a few dates here and there, but in person, I don't really see new people. And if I do, they're all taken. I mean, every cute chick I've encountered IRL, they all have a boyfriend it seems.

I guess I'm supposed to be alone.

With work and school then doing "freelance" website stuff for my boss at work, I get 1 free day a week. Then on top of that the girl I talk to works weekends so basically we just talk, it sucks...
