We have roadworks on the treacherous mountain road that I have to use quite regularly. The illuminated info sign said that the works would be finished in April. Last night I had to stop in a queue 3 times whilst they are STILL fluffing about. Instead of getting their shit together and FIXING the road, they are installing dozens of cameras. Nice work, guys.

It was April 2023. Someone should tell them that was 4 months ago. It's good to see that the money I pay in vehicle registrations, licence fees, GST and fuel excise isn't being squandered on crap.

That is becoming more common in the U.S. Some states are requiring construction companies to warranty a road for 20-30 years or more. Still doesn't mean that won't stop doing joint repair, guard rail fixing, lawn mowing, etc. to slow you down.

That's the age old question here.   We will rework it again in 3 yrs anyway.

We have lots of 'suggestion signs' in Australia, like speed limits, keep left unless overtaking, school zone, stop & give way and so on. I'm no fuddy duddy and I like to drive briskly but if the damn sign says something, at least consider the implications of not doing what it says. Standards are dropping. No need for any skill to get your Australian driver's licence -  I see people playing with their phones at red lights, music loud enough to vibrate the glass on surrounding cars, etc and then I see cars that have speared off into the bush, on their roof because nobody knows how to control a slide. Idiot government needs to mandate a nominal skill level before you are allowed to drive - like a defensive driving course. It'll never happen. Let's make sure the gays can get married and that your kids can change gender whenever they want instead.

Stop the planet - I wanna get off!

Mumble, grumble, bitch, moan....

Same in U.S. , one party wants to ruin our constitution and the other party is for gender change. Doesn't matter what's right or what's wrong it seems. Some think a con man is closer to god than the angels even though he has 4 felony indictments against him. If you have an argument with someone then shoot them??

What happened to common sense?

I agree. Stop the planet and let me off. Too many idiots.

Excellent! I like the Irish sunblock one - 100% true, although actually seeing the sun in Ireland is a pretty rare occurrence. When we were there a few years ago, we climbed into the airport shuttle bus and I asked the driver if the sun was coming out today (it was cold, wet & windy.) He said they'd be turning it on for 10 mins at 3 o'clock. Gold. Turns out someone must have forgotten to flick the switch - I don't recall seeing it for 7 days.

Very good justa!! I like them all especially the one about the bouquet of flowers at the funeral. Wouldn't that be something of a surprise!!! I told my kids not to mourn for me. Just go out to parking lot and crack open an extra beer. I'll be there shortly!!!  (Ha ha!) Oh and pack a 12 pack of Bud light in the coffin ìn case of road construction on the way!

I like this one - I think I need to find out who makes them and order a lifetime supply. Who else wants one?
