no mate !!! what i want to do is now i have a brand new one..... i am going to risk opening up my old one and see what makes it tick !!! i recon i can fix it.... all that was stopping me was if i stuff it up i am screwed without a replacement... i will post some pics when i do the surgery !!! 

i have a mate who is a jeweler, and i think if there is a issue with the copper contacts why not coat them in gold and make them last wayyyy longer!!

WOW... sure showed me up with my 26incher.  But I do have surround sound.  Watching drag racing and the neighbors think I'm doing burnouts in the driveway again.

Well, delivery late. I will go to post office tomorrow for a full refund since it is money back guarantee. It says it left Japan today.

yes i see its in Japan! which is odd, i would have thought that once leaving jfk airport it would have gone west to Hawaii and then Auckland !

I believe they started to run the offloading in Long Beach 24/7 but now they have to get the containers out of the harbor so the truck's are lined up forever.

after day 2 of wind and rain we decided  to pull the plug on the beach! the weather was less than favorable, and no fun for either us or the grand kids!

so we headed home only to find that the postie had been !! 

Thanks Ames 👍 new wheel bearings, caps and hardware, along with the new ignition lock and matching door locks, which will go nicely with the brand new ignition switch !

Also ordered front/rear brake hardware, i noticed when i had the rears  apart that i had 2 broken springs, so these kits will work nicely 👍...

 

Now since i am home early i am going to get some pictures for Fitzy of the vacuum connection on the 64 manifold....

I was happy to help Fitzy with his tach as well. We'd love to have you boys come over and share some American car cruises with us sometime once this damn viral crap gets the hell out of our way! A beer run is as good an excuse as any to come over.

Going to Oz and Kiwi land is still on my bucket list too. Perhaps after I retire in 18 months, I can make that a reality.

Del, the thing that stops the ash tray coming out is a plastic track on the sides ... I am going to send you the whole unit so you can use the tracks or whole thing ,,, way easier than trying to swap tracks over .... see the picture 👍👍👍
