I am still so in love with this car. Wow. She looks great!

Well looks like she'll see her 1st Cruise-in this weekend.

Beat our deadline by almost a full week :)

Well it took longer then it should (or at least I think so) but she now has fire!

Fired her up for the 1st time in way to long but it was great to wake the heart & sole again.

Great looking Indy 4 motor! Glad to see this phoenix rise from its own ashes !

Take a closer look folks. This engine is a Pontiac V8 389 cylinder block with 4 cylinders lopped off and just one cylinder head. This allowed Pontiac to save a significant amount of money on tooling vs the cost of developing a brand new engine. This is just one more innovation from our late friend, Malcolm "Mac" McKellar. Other optional engines for this car were the Buick 216 aluminuim V6 and the 389 V8.

Well she’s still here and we’re still not completely finished, but are they ever?

Had it out on Turkey day, the weather was just too nice not to take her out.

But it’s starting to get cold around here, so I guess she'll have to wait some more.

Great job. Beautiful ride.

Great job. It's nice to see another Indy-4 powered Tempest preserved for another generation at least. Enjoy it!

Lost one of my best friends this summer and he had/has a 63 convertable, shift on the dash. Many of his friends are all wondering what will happen with the car, but to uncomfortable to ask about to the family.

In my humble opinion, It depends on how much he loved the car. I know if I died I would have wanted the Phoenix to stay in the family, maybe passed down to my son. (If my future wife gives me three girls It would be the end of me)

Or taken care of by a close friend
