Could be worse Pro....you could be married to him!!!!

So my progress.  No Pro I ain't gonna marry you but just a fling on the side would be good.

My frame is done, suspension, brakes (4 wheel disc) rear end, engine, transmission, fuel lines and brake lines run, emergency brake run.

Engine done according to the desk top dyno should be about 310 hp

Firewall torque boxes welded up and painted with Chassis Saver.

My next step is to do some touch up welding under the car as the frame was in the way before.  I want the body back on the frame before the end of March.

Did you weld up the exhaust all the way back?

I picked purple just to be different.  I have to touch it up on the front as I must not have done a good job de-greasing a few spots.

Ms Notallthere would just be happy for a quiet night's sleep.

I am so glad we are able to help Pro with his New Years weight loss resolution!  Sharing is caring!

True. Do you think he is trying to loose weight in order to be an extra in Gnomeo and Juliet 2?

  • 2 weeks later...

Still a bowtie. But good to see the progress

So how many people did it take to put the body back on? How many cases of Tim Horton's had to die to accomplish this little milestone? Will the Mapleleafs win the Stanley Cup?

Great work pal! This is way more exciting than watching grass grow or Sgt Rock! This is getting done!

Looking great! ahead of schedule is a nice thing.

not much today.  Bolted the body down and did not have to fight it very much.  Blasted the mount brackets for the rad saddle and primed them with the rad saddle.  I did have to cut the trans tunnel for the transmission as the body was resting on it.

Yahoo and progress.

coming out good man.

Amazing how much garage you reclaim when marrying the 2 again.  Til RUST do you part....out!
