Hey guys I wanted to get your opinion on the mod I want to do next. I would to take these different colored trim pieces and cover them in black vinyl. What do you guys this?

Sorry about the crappy cell phone photos, and the dirty interior.

Hmmm it seems like it won't be easy hehe. Especially around the switches.

oh I should mention, I was planning to get a guy to do it for me..... So long as it looks good, then the effort is worth it.

jus curious, why vinyl and not paint?

if u have the base 2.4 why do u have tap shift? did i miss something

The car looks great! I think blacking out those interior pieces would look pretty slick and would match the overall flow of the car.

I kinda like the accent silver better but as long as its done right (as in the vinyl adheres correctly and doesn't peel) then it should look alright. That would just bother me if it started to peel, since you touch most of those pieces every time you drive the car.

Ringo- Yeah, depending on cost I wouldn't mind redoing it every year or so.

Valid- Thanks.

Killiger- I have the 6 speed auto so I have tap. It is the 2.4.

Ghost- Not permanent. I could de-mod it at will. Vinyl is also faster than paint. Besides I'm going to guess their life span is about the same.

Update- No more power steering. and once again I hate this car that I love so much.

aw. use your muscles.

Thats what I wanted to do. Sadly dad took her to the dealer while I was at work today. So I drove the only reliable thing in my barn, the '71 F100.

Good news, I don't care. :D. Mind if I ask why?

Why thanks good sir. More mods are in the works. Rims and tires are back ordered. And MRZ is having anodizing issues. Beyond that I am fairly hush hush for the moment.

youre welcome. and i cant wait to see these ''hush hush'' mods when done. i got my own secrets so i know how it feels. :D

Looks great! :D

Thanks Jedi3.

Anyone want to estimate how long the chrome delete will hold up? I used 3/4" Vinyl tape.
