More stuff to get rid of.

64 326 block 030 over, has rust damage in cylinders, never started after rebuild 20+ years ago, pistons and rods, pistons will probably work good in another block, looks good never run.

Crank, also has some rust .

My ST300 trans.

Free if someone picks it up, don't think it's worth shipping.

Have been trying to get my Edelbrock carb to work right, got the mixture pretty close but cruising at 2000rpm and step on it hard it has a severe bog and you can see the AFR go really lean.

The acc pump seems to work looking into the carburetor.

Found an acc pump plunger with metal rod instead of the plastic one so waiting for that one, we'll have to see how that goes.

My TH200-4R trans is finished just have to pick it up, a friend of mine rebuilt it so it was very reasonable, I'm in it less than $1500 the core included and the converter was rebuilt and balanced.

Having problems uploading pictures, have to try later.

Says server error.

Got my carb parts and after a few more rounds of meesing with it its not a lot better do I'll leave it alone for now, maybe I'll dig out my Holly double pumper eventually.

Wanted to put the carpet in so I have to fix the water leak by the right kick panel where the air comes in from the evaporator. Got a left over piece of trunk seal that I was able to stuff in between the body and evaporator housing and then seal it with black silicone, I'm on the 3rd round of fixing little pin hole leaks And it's getting better.

At the same time when the heater box is out I decided to replace the dash speaker, got one from Ames that's supposed to fit but has to make the mounts, it is really tight.

Got some new exterior mirrors at the same time from Ames.

I have talked to Guy that rebuilds carburetors and he had quite a few Ideas but nothing really fixes it.

I disconnect the secondaries and it drives beautiful so it is when the secondaries open up,tried to adjust the air valve but doesn't fix it, have worked on the timing when secondaries vs primaries open but it's ok and didn't really help.

It's only when you step all the way in fast that it goes lean for a short moment before it recovers. Have seen quite a few complaints about this. We'll see might give it a few more rounds before I try the other one.

Like the new layout of the website, good job on that.

Was testing and connecting the distributor to manifold vacuum last weekend and nothing, turns out its broken, won't hold vacuum so I had to order a new canister.

Pretty bad I've had the distributor for a couple of years but only driven the car for 6 months,30 months warranty and is out of warranty by two months.

Installed a new one, installed advance limiters so I only get 10 degrees out of the distributor which translates to 20 crank degrees, 16 initial at idle and with vacuum connected I got 34.

At 2700 rpm I got 34 degrees and with vacuum 50 degrees.

Didn't have time to run it in my buddies test bench but might do that later and I'm thinking that the advance should come in a bit earlier, will try it this way for now.

Got the water leak taken care of so next is insulation and carpet.

Happy 4th of July for all our US friends

I think we are going to try some other springs maybe next week when I get a chance to put it on the test bench.

Doing it in the car gets a bit loud ( I got neighbors ) holding it a 2-3000rpm 😄
