Yesterday, i got to meet Kiwistarchief ! aka Russel !

A mission i have been meaning to do for 8 years !!!

i had to make a trip to Auckland to see my brand new number 6 grandy who was born last monday !!! hello world from 6kg Brie !!!

( dont blame me, i didnt choose the name :) )

And it was the perfect time to meet Russel !

Well what a guy !!!! a true Gentleman ! we hit it off instantly , and after seeing his 57 Star chief in the flesh!!! i sooooo would love to be its next owner!!!!. sadly Russel has decided to sell her, and it will be going to this Years Beach hop to be auctioned.... i will certainly be there ! and i could circumvent the auction process, if the boss would simlpy green light a major cash payout !!! .... but fitzy made a good point ! i have my cheiftain to build and i do like building!!!

Regardless of what Fitzy thinks !!! i went and bought a lotto ticket .... but i didnt win !!! ho hum !!!......... i might justA buy another ticket this coming week,,,,,, justA incase !!!

Any who ! back to Russels 57 ..... its amazing ! the yellow justA pops and the interior is a show peice ! ls engine, 4l60e trans, factory strong diff and late model front end makes for a super awsum driver ! i was wiping my chin of the doool mutiple times !!!!

i want to thank Russel for inviting me to his home and sharing his amazing 57 with me

and another big thank you for the parts you gave me to mate

We justA talked cars, events, life as it is now , and i got to show Russel my Purple girl. and i had to go ! the boss was waiting for me at the daughters

We did Wanganui road rodders memorial cruise weekend , and had a ball

We camped at kai iwi holiday park in cabins, which is just out of Wanganui

Friday afternoon while holding the boys beers for them, they decided to mount the Taupo club flag on the playground !

Saturday we had a cruise to a 1906 homestead for high tea

Then to a warehouse full of dust covered cars !

this 37 chev truck was my fav !

MK 4 zodiac !

Then we called into a aeroclub to see a 3/4 sized spit fire powered by a ls2 !!!!!

Saturday night was at a local hall with a band and one young guy had his car toilet papered by his mates !!!
