  1. A DAY AT THE HENRY FORD; Spent the day in Detroit while heading home from TC. Thought I would share some transportation highlights from the museum. Enjoy! https://flic.kr/s/aHsmpCewE5
  2. Ordered the replacement harness from M&H on Monday, It was in my PO box on Friday! (was expecting the basic 3-4 week) That's good service. Was a little nervous Saturday morning when I started to remove the temp harness I had installed (Saved from a none AC parts car) the tabs on the bulkhead are clearly getting older and it's always possible to break one. So after inspection and comparison of old to new. Then slowly out with old and in with the new. M&H harness' are Plug & Play and 99% Factory Correct. Took her out and fully tested the systems It's been a painfully slow recovery but everything is coming back together, Besides if it were easy everyone would own a Classic!
  3. Went out to dinner last Friday and she wouldn't start, not even a click. Sucked to have it roll-backed less then 4 mile but so is life. Got under the hood Saturday afternoon to find the main starter wire had come out of the harness bulkhead, WTH?? So upon removing the Starter/Ignition engine hardness in an attempt to repair. found it was not going to happen without a complete separation of the wiring. I also noticed a few past repaired section showing signs of fatigue so said scr*w it and just ordered a new harness form M&H. This one is 23 years old from them when we completed the reso in '95 so no ill towards their product. ๐Ÿ‘
  4. Nice Welcome to the Board! My Friend has had his '61 for years, It doesn't come out as much anymore but I'll poke him in the side and hopefully get him to get it out a bit more. We're in VA BCH and always will to assist. Cheers
  5. Thanks Gang, Shes been giving me hell this season, but as they say Never Give Up! The paint I proudly admit is 23 years old this year. Sam Wilson & Sons Restoration 1995. I don't do paint but handle all mechanical. Recently the top end was in need of some attention and turned into a cluster *uck, but overcame those issues. Really can't complain as its been 16 years since I blew a cam ๐Ÿ˜ฎ so again feel I got my moneys worth ๐Ÿ˜‰ Now I'm dealing with electrical issues, nothing major just need to install a new starting/Ignition harness on the engine as my 23 year old M&H has said it's had enough. If I didn't drive the sh!t out of her I would be pissed, Anyhow THANKS to all who voted. It always fun to get votes from my peers and go against some great Pontiac iron. Cheers๐Ÿป
  6. Just uploaded some pic's of a Cruise-In I stumbled upon while visiting family in TC and thought I would share. The Firebird broke my heart when I came around to see the missing OHC 6 ๐Ÿ˜ฅ https://flic.kr/s/aHskCbE7iD
  7. NICE PREVIEW FROSTY, THANKS FOR SHARING! That '35 V8 "INDIAN MAIDEN" Is Sweet ๐Ÿ˜›
  8. CRUISIN the Hague in Norfolk. Since the top-end overhaul has been behaving I figured I would show her off ;)
  9. Good Call '31. 1936 looks to be spot on. Interesting piece and would agree it looks like an owner conversion. Below is a DELETE plate for '36 which is clearly the same as the "clock" shown.
  10. HAPPY 4TH of JULY ! We just returned from Parade Duty ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. GREAT SHOTS! Well all but the one of that topless old broad with the tramp stamp ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿคข ๐Ÿ˜€
  12. 1955 Pontiacs version of the Nomad Lot's of good info;... http://www.pontiacsafari.com/index.html
  13. Come On Guys, don't you know a Pontiac WIDE Track when you see it ? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
  14. WOW what a wagon! Welcome aboard, That's quite the project. Wagons of all years have really come full circle in the collectors world and are widely excepted now. I think you'll be surprised on how somewhat easy it might be to locate a correct V8 power-train, but at the end of the day it's your to with as you wish. I myself would be more inclined to go the stock route something along the line like this FIuelie, https://www.ebay.com/itm/PONTIAC-1958-FUEL-INJECTED-ENGINE-COMPLETE-1958-PONTIAC-370-V8-FUEL-INJECTED-/201424025260 How cool would that be under the hood Anyhow best of luck with her. Cheers
  15. Not sure I like that color ๐Ÿ˜‰
  16. It looks like the piston/plunger from the old MC is still on the rod. The snap ring may have broken/fallen off and possible why it wasn't functioning properly? Check to be sure, also check to be sure the Booster isn't loaded/filled with fluid inside.
  17. Went for a Drive! Still a few bits to finish up, but all the big ticket items are behind me...
  18. For anyone interested in the Pontiac's History The excerpt 31 posted is from (IMHO) the BEST book written on the subject. Pontiac The Complete History by Thomas E. Bonsall. The first edition published in 1979 then a second in 1985/86 This is an Excellent book and is very complete. Another worthwhile book is 75 Years of Pontiac by John Gunnell while not as detailed with the early stuff it too is a great read. Cheers!
  19. Jack, You might post your request over on our FB page for possible leads for this. Cheers https://www.facebook.com/groups/101397131868358
  20. Sadly I wasn't able to wrap this up before the local SPRING DUST OFF Show ๐Ÿ˜ž First time in years I've missed it. However I am underway with the reversing process...
