  1. Welcome to the Board. She looks good please share some more about her. One of my old grumpy friends had a sharp looking '49 Business type coupe. I never really appreciated these body styles/years until I saw his. Sadly both are no longer with us. Cheers.
  2. WELCOME to the board. These charts from the Wallace racing site should assist you with that info; http://www.wallaceracing.com/head1.htm CHEERS!
  3. As far as Timing, the timing mark positions changed in '69 attachment below shows the 3 aliment/positions for them. If you don't have a '69 Service manual you should get one it will make life a little easier. Cheers
  4. Hey John Welcome to the board. Need a little more to go on. Was everything good before the new parts or is the first time she has run in a while? My first thought is a fuel issue. However the simplest control test would be to check the plugs, wires & points. If you have another set of wires, then yes that would be the easiest thing to check first. Cheers Jeff
  5. I went looking to see what I could find on Vacuum hose routing and didn't see much. This is the only Diagram I came across that may offer some insight to hose connection points. I'm drawn to your GP as one of my fellow (Local) Pontiacers GP has re-emerged. We lost contact years ago and his GP recently showed up at a Cars & Coffee. It was great to see it was still in excellent condition but sad to learn he had passed Anyway I hope this diagram helps. Cheers
  6. IIRC There should be a port at the base of the carb, possibly along with Brake vacuum.
  7. WOW! She looks good. As far as the lower side molding IIRC they all would have been painted black between the ribs. Sort of like the console tops.
  8. Yes the ribbed lower side body moldings were part of the Bonneville model. Not use on the Cat, Star Chief or 2+2. Hope yours are in good shape nice pit free are hard to find.
  9. Nice! Welcome aboard. The Big '64's are one of Pontiac's better Body Styles IMHO. Had my eye on a Dark Blue on Blue but never pulled the trigger, it just looked like you needed to be wearing a Tuxedo while driving it. You have your work cut out. Get all that crumpled tin off her and pull that engine. Getting the Chassis corrected will be the bases on how to move forward. Best of luck!
  10. Plus I see power steering, Brakes, Seat, Remote side view mirror and Dash tach. Stunning !
  11. This old write up will give you an idea of what you'll need to do to get to the gauge pod. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hppp-0604-pontiac-dash-restoration/ Lots of space is key, I always remove the driver side seat. Then remove the two screws on the column trim and then the two bolts from the column strap. This will allow you to slightly lower the column to get the bezel out. Lots of other things to do before hand but these few items make this major task a little bit easier.
  12. PY has a great group of '61-'63 Tempest / Lemans owners that should be able to walk you through this process. https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=427 They helped me out with this old Tempest. Cheers.
  13. Chilln Dockside on the Indian River Portsmouth Virginia.
  14. Sorry Spock wasn't that cool. That Photo-shopped image has been around for over a decade. Heres the actual back lot picture of him leaning on his Riv
  15. Very impressive progress. Looks real good. 👍 Did you get the hood latch figured out?
  16. Thanks guys. Frosty, The weather here in VA BCH is somewhat unpredictable, We sometimes will have charity shows up until mid December. I'll be attending a Toys for Tots next week. If anyone is interested I just added more show pictures to my album. I borrowed them from someone else who took a few I didn't catch. https://www.flickr.com/gp/149936083@N07/vd974D Cheers.
  17. As I said, I didn't know what to expect. This event popped up on the local car show calendar and peeked my curiosity. I must first correct myself it is SAJO Farm. This is a little known (At least to me) piece of local history and an amazing location for an event. This was organized by Saint Patrick Catholic School and was an inaugural event. Once on site I was amazed how well it was put together. I think they topped off with just under 80 cars not bad for an unknown first time event. All donations went to the school and with a VIP pass you were given access to the inner house for some special tasting Regardless if you chose a VIP ticket all entrants were given access to free BBQ from a local establishment as well as entertained by not only a great eclectic mix of fine automobiles but great music from an acoustic duo that but an awesome Irish twist to contemporary music. I have to say all these elements have never come to mind when you hear CAR SHOW. What a great mix and I hope they can continue this event. We have several more events possible before we have to tuck tail and deal with Old Man Winter I hope these pics attached will help those already dealing with the cold feel a little warmer. To see more of my favorites from the show... https://flic.kr/s/aHsmJ8oDpE Cheers.
  18. I'm busy cleaning the LeMANS tonight for a VIP show tomorrow at SO JO Farms. Weather is looking great. Not sure what to expect but should be good with mixed horderves and Bourbon tasting. I'll be sure to take some pics if possible 😜 😉
