Yes mate, went well, not feeling too bad, they wanted to give me tremadol and i said no thanks, the pain isnt too bad. just want to get out of here! even though its a private hospital. hospital still suck, they are for sick people! doc says i have to have 3 weeks off! stuff that i have things to do!! haha. have been looking on line at headers for bonny and rang up and ordered some shorties, 👍 oh and emailed the company thats going to rebuild my ball joints. There is one item that i really dont have alot of options on and thats the auto trans mount to x member. can only fined them on ames and fleebay

Fitzy, king springs are 👍 i have them under the hq ute. And they were not expensive mate Got mine in a bulk order from castlemaine rod shop, Rods a good bugger ! but since then i have used my new spring shop in Rotorua, when i built the mk1 cortina i had them make new leaf springs for the rear and custom coil overs for the mk2 escort front struts i used, then i used a escort sway bar, heated it up, bent it to where i wanted it and gave it too them to properly heat treat.

like Fitzy is finding, freight these days is a killer, things like tie rod ends and ball joints are fair prices but then they rip you with the freight. i have found a company who rebuilds steering parts here in nz and i will send all my front end parts to them as its going to be cheaper than buying new.

Fitzy, do what i do, take your springs to your local spring guys and get them to make you a set. we have a spring company just 1 hour away and they make anything you want from scratch that way you get justA whats needed👍

Just sad Sprint 6, cars are loosing their personality.... chrome, curves, horse power, sound, feel, all gone😥 and you wonder why the classic car parts business are doing so well, who the hell would want a new car when you can drive and repair an old school cool car !.... or am i just old now🙄
