  • Yup, it was a great show. Our oldest car was a 1917 Oakland. It is still being restored. The floor boards and transmission are missing, but it was still great to actually see an Oakland at the show af

It's packed...AND I've solved the mystery of transporting THE TENT.  Right tool for the right job!  No...it's not riding in the trailer, I sure thought about it. It's buried N not enought time to clean it up.  You have a table?  Forgot to call Chuck.  See you there.

Yup, it was a great show. Our oldest car was a 1917 Oakland. It is still being restored. The floor boards and transmission are missing, but it was still great to actually see an Oakland at the show after all these years.

We figure we had 103 cars. The weather was threatening all day but not really doing anything (except raining on those of us who had to be there early to open the show).

Our buddy Jeff and his Factory Appearing Stock Tire (FAST) race car didn't make it 100 feet from the trailer to his parking spot without running out of gas !!!! That's $16.00/gallon race/aviation gas he is putting in the car.

This G8 was a memorial to his recently deceased grandfather who fought at Pearl Harbor in WWII aboard the USS San Francisco CA-38. The engine bay and interior are painted in a navy gray scheme. Articles commemorating his grandfather and a ship reunion were also well documented.

How about a Grand Prix 2+2? This one still has the rare NASCAR stripes on it. It is owned by the late Pontiac historian John Sawruk's son, Jeff. John autographed the car before his death too.

This next car wins the Professor Award. Its a 1980 Catalina Safari wagon running a 5.7L diesel!!! It has 102,000 miles on it. It looks gorgeous. It was parked directly behind Lucy in "D" class. Lucy was in "E" class. The owner even refers to it as a "rod knocker"! He won the class BTW.

I didn't find one Royal Pontiac license plate holder though, unless I was going to steal one off one of the cars on the show field. Sorry JUSTA.
