I got this car about a year ago, I have been slowly fixing it.

Does anyone know where I can buy patch panels for the fenders? or complete fenders?

Thanks, it is painted silver, I have a chromed one  in great condition, that I am waiting to receive the reverse light assemblies to install on the bumper first. I don't like the painted bumper.

I know this is Pontiac sacrilege And Can't believe I'm saying this... But I like the Buick 455 engine in your car..All V-8 Buick engines have really good forged internals from the factory....With the correct combination of mostly factory parts they can easily make one horsepower per cubic inch and 500 + foot pounds of torque with little effort...and have excellent Drivability...

Yeah I got the car like that.. it is a 1972 455-4 from a Buick GS... It runs very nice and has lots of torque... I have to lightly press the gas otherwise it just do burnouts... it is a posi rear end, not sure if it is original either... it has a Turbo 400 trans with the pistol grip shifter. My next must do is the disc brake conversion ASAP the original brake system is a one line for all 4 wheels and I am scared to drive the car long distances without a fail safe brake system..

Ok cool. Where did you find the reverse lights man? I looked for a while with no luck? Any chance you have an extra front bumper that's justa taking up space lol? I actually came across a duel carb intake last week from what I was told was a 65' Buick Rivera 425 super wildcat engine. The car was beyond repair but I was able to talk the guy out of the intake.

The reverse lights I just got it a couple of days ago from ebay.. I have not received it yet... I do have one I bought a few months ago that I will most likely not use if you want it... (not a pair just 1 side), I also have a few of the front parking lights I have been buying from ebay to get a set that was better than mine.. I will be removing mine and use the ones that look better.

This place currently have a set as well they wanted $160 plus shipping (but they do not offer online ordering you have to call in to order)

Those are worth a lot of money, list it on ebay if you have no use for it... 

Yeah brother, I've traded with Franks in the past. I'll give them another look. I had all but given up on them and stopped looking last year. Justa moved on and never got back to them. Also, I will keep an eye out for the patch panels bro.

As far as the intake & carbs, that's kind of what I was thinking. It'll have to be completely rebuilt so I just need to figure out what's its worth and post it. I checked eBay the other night and didn't see any that I could use as a reference.

If you got the whole intake, carbs and linkage, you are a very smart man. Not a lot of people sprung for the 425 Super Wildcat Engine.

Denny Manner was the Mac McKellar for Buick Motor Division. He own's a Buick Riveria GS with the 425 Super Wildcat Engine! It is a rare piece of Buick performance.

Yes I have the intake and carbs. Maybe you can look and tell me if I'm missing anything and need to go back for. I thought about trying to work something out on the entire engine but I was in weeds and chiggers up past my waist. It would be probably a 4-6 hour job in those weeds to get the car pulled out far enough to pull the engine. Are they actually worth it Frosty? If so I may go back when it cools down and the chiggers all die! They seem to like me lol

Let's put this way, if this is out of a '66 Riveria GS, it is one of only 179 produced with the MZ coded (Super Wildcat) engine package. 

The 425 was the highest displacement version of the famous Buick Nailhead engine. It was originally available starting in '63 as a four-barrel on the Riveria,  Wildcat, and Electras. The Super Wildcat delivered 390 HP. For '64 and '66, the 425 was standard on the Riv. The original MW coded Super WIldcats had to be dealer installed as the intake and twin carbs were installed in the trunk by the factory. Only the MZ coded engines in '66 were factory installed. 

Either way (MW or MZ coded) this is the holy grail intake system for Buick Nailhead engines. A Buick collector will want them for sure.

Well if it is a really rare piece of unobtanium Buick or Pontiac parts, I would risk bug bites to retrieve it. 

Is the whole motor salvageable Wrongway or is it too far gone? I believe the Buick nailhead valve covers were aluminum too.

I believe that it could be rebuilt, and yes they are aluminum. I've got those also frosty. The car has been sitting and is non restorable, but the hood has been closed.

As long as the cylinder heads or the block is not cracked.. Even if is locked up...It would be absolutely rebuildable... But it wouldn't be cheap....

well wrongway looks like you justA have to go back and get that engine mate... if its rare, its your job to save it !!!... maybe a bath in bug spray first, then full ppe kit !!! hahaha
