I still don’t have a lift, however I did hang up some new wall art.

I started with this, my Route 66 and Sturgis signs.

I ended up with these Route 66 signs. I am missing the Texas sign. I need to find one. I left room for it once I get one.

I hung my new Trans Am and GMC signs.

Finally I hung my souvenir from last year’s Roadkill Nights, where they filmed the penultimate episode of Roadkill. This is part of a 2001 Ram 1500 they cut up during the show. They autographed pieces as the cut them off the truck. I hung it on the wall of shame, next to my dented oil pan.

I put together a bunch of vanity plates, focusing on GM divisions and facilities. Shortly after I started working at GM, GM celebrated it’s 75th anniversary, so you will see several 75th plates.

I was responsible for all IT at Flint Engine South and what was left of Buick City in 2007, this included what was left if the transmission plant (we made torque converters still).

Buick turned 100 in 2008, so the centennial celebration was held here in Flint.

I have a bunch more vanity and former license plates. I guess I need to buy some more plywood.

i was looking to do some work on Lucy today. However I opened the door and what domI see? Ugh! Water! Whete it shouldn’t be!

I spent nearly 30 minutes squeegeeing as much water out as i could. My unit isnt the only unit to partially flood either. My neighbors unit also flooded..There goes my plans to install new adjustable rear upper control arms in Lucy. I have no desire to lie on a cold AND wet floor.

I hung a couple of new posters though.

Now the shitty thing is the majal has no drain at all. Plus the cement slab in front of the garage door has risen 3/4” due to the cold weather/freeze-thaw. So melting snow or rain water is trapped in front the door. I planned to call the property manager about it.

I am sorting through my bedroom closet this afternoon and I found this! My missing 2020 Woodward sign. I’ve been searching marketplace, Craigslist, and eBay for one of theses!

Now remember that the Woodward Dream Cruise was officially cancelled due to Covid, even though diehards like us still showed up. The t-shirt says it all! So my question to you folks is this, do I leave the sign as is, or do I make it look like the t-shirt?

It's OK, we won't make you start at Mackinaw to do the 66 run to California. Also won a Back to the Bricks shirt ( I have never seen one or couldn't find anyplace to buy one) EVER. Coolrides cup gives me matching set, (blast from the past). Picked up a couple Widetracker window logo's And a carryall automotive bag to get it home. You did very well on doorprizes N such as well. Really like the toolkit. Great time, good food, awesome fellow members.

I worked on two signs today.

First is my EDS sign. This sign came from an EDS call center in Lansing. Someone removed the word ONLY. I bought some letter from Amazon. Same size but not quite the same font.

Second was my COVID Woodward sign. I used the same batch of letters to make the word CANCELED. I decided to put the letters on two inch painters tape. That way I can remove the letters sometime in the future without them permanently bonded to the sign.

I mounted some more signs today!

To the best of my knowledge, I am the only owner of a unit at the garage mahal complex. Everyone else, I am lead to believe, rents their unit. I never know what is stored in each unit unless I see a door open.

This weekend was the first time I saw this come out.
