The Rarest Wagon - The '63 SD 421 Tempest

Nice YouTube video on the '63 Super Duty Tempest wagons and some brief Pontiac history too. Having seen the Stan Antcoler SD Lemans Sedan, I can appreciate this car.

Scott Tiemann has restored both the Union Park wagon and the Stan Antcoler sedan. So he's restored 2 of the 14. I also like how this video describes finding the Stan Antcoler car.

I remember seeing this car run at the Pontiac Tri-power nationals 10=years ago at Norwalk. It always ran well and sounded great!

I saw the car at Tiemann’s shop before it was restored. He said it was the most expensive POS to ever be delivered to his shop.

This is cool 31pontiac! Thanks for sharing!

But if I owned this car, i would be pissed about the dent in the passenger door and fender.

Awesome pic's, thankz for sharing. Maybe Justa reflection in the door /fender?

I hope you are right Justa.

Sorry guys, we were away and I didn’t get to respond. I justa wanted to say that Justa is correct, they are reflections. Here’s a few more pics to justa-fy it!

I had to revisit my pictures because I couldn’t believe how I could have missed a scar of that magnitude given Scot Tiemann’s restoration prowess and the car owners attention to detail.

Beautiful! Thanks 31!

Now that’s old school filtration!

Looks familiar! My “69” Z air filter was done in a similar fashion! JustA micron screen mesh! Mine was encapsulated by the larger grid work on the outside. The second picture is my wife’s “74” same type air cleaner. You can see a little more detail.
