I was scrolling through this thread and found these pictures. Love it or hate it, it's actually factory. It's called a Harlequin, and the panels were swapped on the assembly line at Volkswagen. Only a limited number were produced throughout the various generations of Golfs, and they're actually valued by enthusiasts.

Personally, I think it'd be fun to have one.

Mando, you should have seen the terrible work quality of this car. The hood had wrinkles, panel gaps galore, paint runs, ugh. And yes, this is a GS-T Spyder sadly.

In my opinion, to each their own, yea some stuff might not be exactly what you want to see in a car. At least it's not a bunch of smeared on bondo, and looks to be quality body work. Looks like most of them put a bunch of time & money into those cars (at the show), and I can respect that, be it low key or totally wild.

But when it's a total hack job and/or stick on crap, then yea it's gay.
