  1. Always glad to help out a fellow "A-Body" brother... been voting for you every day since you posted this thread!
  2. ... only $161million! http://carproperty.com/n-rburgring-race-track-is-for-sale-ad20142653.htm
  3. Moderator... I don't have permission to look at the pictures in the previous three posts- how do I get permission?
  4. From what I understand, there was a last minute change of plans when you got bumped to the Naughty List and I was next on the Nice List. Seriously though, I am in awe of folks like you and JUSTA6 that can restore your own cars.
  5. Well.. he's about 3,000 miles from you now. He was on his way to Baltimore- he's got an old 911 and XKE in the truck that have one-way tickets on a boat to Europe. (BTW... don't tell anyone I told you this, but Santa has lost weight, shaved his beard and is calling himself Driver Dave these days.)
  6. I know I haven't posted in ages, but... Santa Pontiac came to my house three months early!
  7. Don't know if this has already been posted, but here's a flyer for a BOPC (Buick, Olds, Pontiac, Cadillac) show in Richmond, Va on 9/23/12. http://www.olddomini...ow_flyer_12.pdf
  8. Is this a real, 1 of 17, ultra rare, 1971 Judge convertible????????!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Wow! Not many Pontiac shows would have such rare sights as a '62 Super Duty, '71 Judge, and '73 GTO. I'm glad you went, took all those pictures, and put together that great slide show. Thanks!
  10. I hope GM notices that Pontiac is not a forgotten brand. June is not even halfway over, and we've got pictures from three pretty good sized Pontiac shows this month. I never tire of looking at pictures of Pontiacs... thanks for sharing!
  11. ...but here is the first Ventura (1960)
  12. No, the 1973 GTO is built on the same platform as GrandPrix65's beautiful 1977 Can Am:
  13. Sunday (6/3), I went with ungerdog to the all Pontiac car show at Burdette Brothers (former Pontiac dealer), in Hyattstown, Md. The weather was great and they had a record turnout of 139 Pontiacs. Ungerdog took over 100 pictures and has given the me the okay to post a few of them. Ungerdog's 2006 G6 GTP: Rare 1973 GTO: Rare 1966 2+2 convertible: Rare Plum Mist 1967 Firebird 400:
  14. This is a great show with usually well over 100 cars in attendance. Here are the details (from a G8 forum): http://www.g8board.c...hp/t-57920.html Here's a few pics from last year (thanks ungerdog!):
  15. That last picture of the "new" '69 Trans Am is by far the best Camaro-to-Firebird conversion to date!
  16. The Mecum Auto Auction is live on HD Theater tonight thru Satuday on HD Theater. They usually have a good number of Pontiacs, so it's good to tune in from time to time. I usually tune in to watch "a few cars" and end up watching an hour or more, lol!
  17. Well... they've really limited themselves to a niche market with it being all "goth" looking and left-handed. Also, what's with those bass pickups? What it needs is a Strat neck with a humbucker and two single coils like this fine looking Stratocaster... ...or two humbuckers like this awesome American Strat HH hardtail.
  18. ***UPDATE*** The 2+2 is gone! I drove by the junkyard today and there is just a car size rectangle of dirt surrounded by weeds where the Pontiac sat for so long. Hopefully it went to someone who will fix it up and not part it out.
  19. I'm a real softie for 1968 Firebirds... I had a '68 Firebird 400. ...of the Firebird (though it might make me cry, lol!)
  20. I know, I know... I've read it's a really nice car for the money. It's just going to take a while for me to get over this hatred of Buick. Now maybe if they were to use the Camaro platform and come out with modern version of the '70 GSX or '87 GN... ...oops, sorry!
