  1. I don't think upgrading to front discs effects the value appreciably as it was an option for your car. My GTO came with drums all around, but was upgraded to front discs for safety. If you are planning to drive it and are not going for a 100 point concourse car, I would recommend it.
  2. It's too bad they cropped too much on the left and right hand side on almost all of the pictures.
  3. Pontiac Banshee in "Back to the Future Pt.II" and "Demolition Man":
  4. Thanks Leon... BTW, I'm envious of your stable of fine Pontiacs!
  5. We pass by this on I-64 every year on our way to the Outer Banks... what is it?
  6. Engine code "YG" and casting #485428: L-75 280 HP, 4-barrel Turbo 400 trans B-Body (Bonneville, Catalina, Grandville)
  7. Nice pictures as usual... thanks for sharing! It's too bad we are on opposite ends of the state, I'd sure like to meet up with you at a show next year. Ok... how did you get the vintage plates with all zeroes? I hope this never shows up at my house...
  8. Yeah... that black '68 GTO is a real beauty!
  9. It was like twice as many cars as usually show up at the local car shows around here. I think it is one of if not the last car show in the area, so I think that is why there were not only the usual local Va cars, but also cars from WV, MD, and PA.
  10. Here's a couple of sites you can go to find the nearest ethanol-free gas station. http://pure-gas.org/ http://www.buyrealgas.com/
  11. You're in luck... it's a 1966 Dodge Coronet and it had a "for sale" sign on it! The picture doesn't do it justice- it's much wilder looking in person. Someone has crazy airbrush skills as all the graphics (and the bazillion "rivets") were painted on, not stickers.
  12. I took Black Betty to a car show in Winchester VA (about 30 minutes from my house) Sunday (10/27). There were just over 170 cars registered... here are a few of them:
  13. Awesome pictures! You have one beautiful GTO there my friend!
  14. I know that truthfully, what really killed Pontiac, was GM's complete incompetent mismanagement of the Pontiac brand in the '80s and '90s. If only Mr. Lutz had worked at GM at least a decade earlier, before the Pontiac became lingered in mediocrity and became too damaged to salvage, Pontiac would still be relevant in the years going forward. His vision of Pontiac truly being a cheaper alternative to BMW performance could've come to fruition in the mid '90s. I just wish that the Feds had given GM maybe five years for Lutz to turn Pontiac back into GM's performance division again. But I don't think they were interested in low volume performance cars, only high volume "sensible" cars (it's amazing that Corvette was allowed to live).
  15. Welcome... always glad to add another Goat to the herd! Beautiful GTO! It is
  16. I wish it wasn't so far away... I would have loved to have been there. Really nice pictures!

  18. No, the shots I have so far are not very interesting and I'm kind of a Johnny-come-lately this year anyway.
  19. I am the fourth owner and until I brought it to VA last month, it had been in MO and OK all it's life. BTW Sam, that was your 666 post... YIKES!!!! Here's a couple of pics from a car show at the local high school this past Sunday:
