  1. This is the guy the Maserati belongs to: http://www.marriott.com/culture-and-values/jw-marriott-jr.mi
  2. Trucks of all types are very popular here in rural Virginia.
  3. Great pictures SPRINT 6! I had registered for the GM Nats and was on my way up 81 about 5am Saturday, when it started pouring rain cats and dogs. Between the rain, the spray from the trucks (who never slowed down!), and my crappy wipers, I couldn't see a thing. I was only about 20 miles in, so I came back home because I had no idea how long it was going to rain and I was VERY nervous driving and not being able to see. Those pictures sure make we wish I had toughed it out though! Thank you so much for posting the pictures!
  4. Went to a local car show Sunday and was pleasantly surprised at the turnout since it was overcast most of the morning. The town it was held in has a high end exotic car restoration shop, which is kind of secluded with a number of buildings, so you can never see what they are working on. Well... the owner of the shop drove in, completely unannounced, with a 1 of 4, 1954 Maserati owned by Mr. Marriott (yes, THAT Marriott)! I would bet it is a seven figure automobile. It was really cool to have a car that would do well at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance at this little local-yocal car show! Enjoy the pictures! http://s931.photobucket.com/user/us_strat/slideshow/Show_6_22_14?sort=6
  5. Black Betty sez... "Thank you, JUSTA6, for the nomination to be Miss POTM JUly 2014!"
  6. SPRINT 6's 1966 Le Mans Sprint 6. First year of a four year production run of Pontiac's inline OHC 6 cylinder engine.
  7. I think Frosty is correct... he just wants to know how many brewster green 1973 Formula 455's were built. Frosty is also correct in that being one of 733 is indeed pretty rare, even before you factor in the brewster green color. This is not a Formula SD-455 as they had TA shaker hoods.
  8. Your signature would make an awesome show board!
  9. Well, with those two beautiful Pontiacs sitting on either side of the booth, I'm sure you generated lots of interest for your sponsor!
  10. Look out!... Black Betty got a new killer show board!!... Don't mess with Betty!!! http://s931.photobucket.com/user/us_strat/slideshow/Show%20Board
  11. I got up at o'dark thirty this morning and detailed Black Betty for a show today. It was an open show (no classes, just top 30) with 200+ cars in attendance. Well... Betty was looking particularly fine today and snagged one of the top 30 trophies.
  12. The stock wheels and tires look odd with that body kit. Maybe if he gets wheels and tires that actually fill the wheelwells, it will look much better.
  13. Yep... them's the ones I seen at the show! ...looks like they're going on a 2nd gen Firebird?
  14. I love my hood tach! It's always a conversation piece at car shows as a lot of folks have never seen one before. Also, you get "experts" who swear it was not a factory option. I always carry my PHS docs in the trunk so I can prove them wrong! That GTO arrived late, so I got to see it as it was driving around, and those honeycombs look amazing! If you are thinking of getting new wheels, you won't regret getting those. BTW, I like your recessed grilles much better than the GTO grilles.
  15. Dang!... that's the only picture I got of that car. It didn't register in my tiny brain when I was taking pictures, that your car is similar to those two and maybe I should take more pictures of them. Grrr...
  16. These 17" Honeycomb's would look pretty sweet on your ride, Frosty!
  17. I went to the 32nd Annual Burdette Pontiac Show in Hyattstown MD this past Sunday (6/1) and took a bunch of pictures. My Goat got second place in the "GTO 1968-1972" class. It was a beautiful day for a car show and I hope you enjoy the pictures! http://s931.photobucket.com/user/us_strat/slideshow/Show_6_1_14
  18. Ok, thanks... BTW, I really like this new feature you came up with!
  19. When I vote on a "this or that" another one shows up. Do you just keep going or do they stop eventually? Also, I had one where the same car was in "this" and in "that".
  20. Here's another company that makes radios that fit vintage cars: http://www.retrosoundusa.com/?utm_medium=Email&utm_source=ExactTarget&utm_campaign=
  21. Good eye, MelsSS! It looks like Gautier's Le Mans is a Grand Le Mans because of the hood ornament. Here is some info on the 1977 Grand Le Mans: http://www.curbsideclassic.com/curbside-classics-american/curbside-classic-1977-pontiac-grand-lemans-retrograde-colonnade/
