  1. TV cable hooks one end to the transmission and the other end to the throttle linkage. The cable is used to regulate the pressure in the transmission for shifting based on the throttle position. It is kinda pain to change which usually involves dropping the pan and disconnecting it. The linkage at the throttle body or the carb just hooks up similar to the throttle cable. It has been some years since I changed one but I remember I was not very good at setting it up.
  2. Depends on which car? Vibe -- brakes 79 C20 -- Edelbrock intake 70 Chevelle -- four wheel disk brakes if the damn car ever gets on the road Wife's 04 Cavalier -- the lead we installed in her foot.
  3. Wasn't this one of the test mule's for the Cobalt SS motor? Wasn't there also a Cavalier built in a similar fashion but yellow?
  4. Nice Vibe. I don't know about painting the rims all black though. What about just the low spots on the rim black and see if you like it? It's just a thought. For up grades, sway bars, tower braces, and a short ram intake or cold air.
  5. I love my garmin. I just wish that I could use the Stewie voice that I downloaded.
  6. This is going to sound stupid but bear with me. If your engine revs when you punch it, How old is your fluid? Is the fluid at capacity? Check those first before you go to the worst case senario. Also check your TV cable and see if it snapped.
  7. Why can't we get PSA's like this? I think that we need them in North America.
  8. I would now like to take the time to morn the loss of this Corvette to stupidity. It was a nice car very fast, good motor and probably not a lot of miles on it. Unfortunately, now ricers would laugh at it.
  9. Nice grand am and I like the rims.
  10. Who is really to blame? Is it the company, the consumer, or the competition for their growth and monopoly. Like every company wants to make money, expand, and do well. The consumer says we want it cheaper, someone makes it cheaper, and the cycle keeps repeating it self. The competition that does not keep up with the pace then they are going to get squashed. I am not taking about the local buisnesses but the larger competitors that did not survive. The local buisnesses blame Walmart totally for their downfall but is it partially theirs to blame as that buisiness was built around zero competition. Some of the local buisnesses here are actually doing very well with Walmart here. Most of the buisnesses had to shift their focus slightly but were able to adapt. This is not true for everyone but a large number of them. My father in-laws is one of them. Personally I do not mind the stores but I cannot stand the customers. Screaming kids are almost as bad as having my toe nails ripped out. I usually shop rediculously early (6am -8 am) or at night 10 AM or later.
  11. Thanks I was having a hard time finding it.
  12. Nice looking car and I have always liked that green. I have the same head unit and love it. Does yours tend to loose time though? Mine is about a minute every two months.

    Beer

The next time I am in Kentucky I want to tour the plant. I heard at the end of the tour they give you apple juice.
  14. The history of that company is interesting as well. Hard to believe that it was just one store and Sam Walton grew from that.

    Beer

Isn't Jack Daniel's made in a dry county?
  16. Z28 would be a good platform for it since the origonal was more about handling with a high reving engine. Probably would be a nice balanced ride through the tighter corners.

    Beer

Miller is okay. I tried Bud Lime the other day. Pretty good beer if I am feelin a little girly. As of right now I think I may hit The Beer Store and get a sampler pack. Yes in Ontario if you want beer you go to The Beer Store.
  18. That was funny, I wonder if that will make it to Leno or Letterman

    Beer

The wife and I located the Michigan Brewery but we were running late and had to get back. Apparently, they are the ones who brew Kid Rock's beer. Maybe give that one a shot. Blue Moon next time I am in Port Huron I will try and find that. I am not a big fan of Bud (its to much like sex in a canoe) but I would not turn it down if a friend gave me one.
