  1. http://www.widetrackers.com/ I will be there with the Vibe and my buddy Dennis http://www.widetrackers.com/carol.htm There is a front wheel drive awards and from what I remember there are very few that show up. These are a good group of guys with most of them forgetting more than I know. If I can find the proper information for pre-registry I will post it up.
  2. I believe that the driver might not be able to see the car especially on the COE trucks the front blind spot is large enough for a Chevette but he should have been able to feel the car as he drives.

    Beer

My wife and I travel some through the U.S. and Canada and where there are wine lovers, I am a beer lover. Hell I am built like a beer drinker. Here are some that I have tried that are not considered mass produced like a Molson Canadian or Budweiser: Alexander Kieths Alexander Kieths Red Alexander Kieths White Creamor Springs Ale Sleemans Honey Brown Sleemans Cream Ale Sleemans Dark Rickard's Red Rickard's White Richard's Honey Brown Great Lakes Brewing Company, Burning River Pale Ale, Commodore Perry IPA, Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, Eliot Ness Amber Lager Killians Foster Heineken Sam Adam's, Boston Lager, Cream Stout, Pale Ale, Irish Red Samporo There are probably more but I cannot remember it all probably due to brain damage. What I am looking for are ones that you guys would recommend as I am starting to move into smaller less high volume types (micro-brews) of beer I am looking for some recommendations so I can look for them in my travels.
  4. I heard Drew and Mike on the radio talking about this from Detroit. I think that we will see it in Canada in a few months or I can get a U.S. satelite system.
  5. When I have painted interior pieces this is what I do: 1. Wash with dish soap, I use the apple scented stuff just cause it smells up the garage 2. Degrease with TSP, Simple Green and a tooth brush to get into all of the tiny cracks and pores 3. Rinse 4. Repeat above two to three times depending on how bad it could be. A good way to tell is to use a dry cloth spray some clean degreaser on if the cloth has dirt on it your not done. 5. Light sanding with 800 - 1000 grit - wipe dust off with a tack cloth 6. Primer or adhesion promoter two or three light coats. 7. Light sanding with 1000 - 1200 grit 8. Paint -- two or three light coats. I tried using the Duplicolor interior paint and I hated it. I have actually had better luck with engine block paint. If you want a good clear coat I have found that SEM makes a clear coat for wheels that works the best for me. Friends of mine use Krylon plastic paint I have not but they have good results. If I think of it I can send you pictures of my doors that I did in a hurry on my truck. They are peeling badly but the centre console I took my time with much better results.
  6. I think I have seen that car before in Michigan. You think its ugly in pictures see it in person.
  7. Welcome to the site. Houghton Michigan i love that area.
  8. 1970 Chevelle 14" so the Z28 rims I have for it look big at 15". Did you get the wiring under the dash sorted out? Personally I am into replacing the harness vs repair. American Autowire is a nice source but I do not think that they have made them for the Gen III Camaros.
  9. I thought I read that the Volt uses Lithium Ion batteries? Have you tried to charge lithium ion batteries in -5 C weather. They need to be warm in order to charge. I wonder how they are overcoming this?
  10. Because some of the Camaro guys think they measure their weiner by their car and feel inadequate around the Corvette guys.
  11. I am not making a thread for this but have a good day guys and I hope you celebrate the day right. http://www.steakandbjday.com/
  12. I tried to pay it off faster but there is not a lot of call for a Chubby Gigalo in Ontario. I just picked up a short ram intake for the Vibe. It's used but it should be good to go.
  13. Are you sure that it was a call from a court official? Saturday family courts would not be in session right? At least my knowledge of them would be they could not make a ruling issued by phone you would have to get paperwork stating the fact. I would not quote me on that since I am wrong alot.
  14. I have never been in that situation but fight for the child. I hate to see children with only one parent active in their live weather it be by choice or not. All I want you to realize is that your and others around you need to be safe. Yeah people around here got down on you. Nobody hates you they just wanted to guide you in the right direction and like you are very passionate people. One day at a time buddy it will all work out in the end.
  15. Nice looking car. I would count a driveway as a photo shoot. I have two sets of wheels and the factory aluminium are the winter ones.
  16. You made a very bad choice now you are going to have to deal with it. Do not compound the problem by adding to it. ie driving while suspended, doing it again. From what I have observed you are 17 year old man. Right now you have two brains telling you what to do. I think you should use the one on your shoulders before you make anymore bad decisions. You are not a stupid kid just slow down a little. Right now be greatful right now that the only thing that happened was a loss of driving for a bit and a fine. It may take time but it will heal. You have a child right? Then just remember it is all for that child. Or WWJD (what would Jedi3 do) Just a little joke smile and just be safe.
  17. No you do have more. Just wrecking your car is one thing but what about your family if something happens to you. Who takes care of you if you get hurt? Who digs the hole when you are dead? If you hurt or kill someone else? You are going to have to live with it every day of your life. Like it or not at that point your are a murderer and no better than a guy walking into a 711 with a gun and kills the clerk. At 17 there is to much ahead of you to set yourself up for failure. DAMN IT you are not stupid. Just use the tool between your ears before you act.
  18. Nice if you are ever driving through swing in for a beer.
  19. It's not hate. I cannot speak for others but as for myself the topic is non-negotiable topic. I have lost friends because of street racing and drunk driving. Bragging about it does set up defences about it in people because: 1. Your 17 according to your profile and you have 60 years plus to go so do not waste it on something that is in your control. 2. It is not always the people in the car that get hurt it is the others that are bystanding that are the ones affected and their families. Also the non-chalant attitude that was portraid towards the whole issue. You have a long way to go and so do I and doing something that irresponsible could lead to consequences that you do not want in the future. My dad gave me some advise when I was a kid "Get your head out of the dark place and think before it costs more than you are willing to pay" Crap like that could cost you your life and are you willing to pay for that? or others lives?
