"Ride Pontiac Ride" - Entire 1988 Lineup - who does a 2:30 minute commercial anymore. Love the music too. >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgQMIaF-PRo

While I agree with JUSTA that a slammed look would make Black Beauty a little more mean and stealthy, this is definitely not the way to do it. You should definitely need to thank the Lord for the good fortune of this happening in the driveway rather than the highway for sure.

Ghosty - I'm with stratman on this one. Top this and you are definitely King of the G6s !!!! Ohhhhh clean !!!!

Prove it !!!! I thinkg Ringo (and the rest of us) are calling you out Ghosty !!!! SPRINT6 is right stratman !!!! This could have done serious damage to Black Beauty at speed ! If the castellated nut holding the ball joint came off at speed, it is very possible that the front spring might have also come out of its perch and that would be like a small grenade going off next to your steering box, left front tire, and engine. It could cause a lot physical damage if that were to happen. Not a pleasant thing to think about. I am really hoping the damage is minimal bud! Let's hope it is just a ball joint that needs to be replaced. It bothers me though - why did it snap in the first place? I hope these are not factory originals.

Lucky man. A little deja vu compared to my 72 Lemans Sport convertible. So any idea how many Lucerne Blue GTO convertibles were built? There weren't that many GTO convertibles built in '71 in the first place, so this has to be a rare piece. Add the original 455 H.O. to it, she has to be one of less than 50 or perhaps 20 built.

What did you do to your Car today?

So what is the plan for the 98? What is the plan for the missus for later on? Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know-what-I-mean? -
Never under estimate the power of human laziness, human stupidity or the "it won't happen to me" syndrome. BTW - my father-in-law waited 4 months "for parts" for his recalled 2008 Solstice before his ignition switch was finally fixed.

Shame on you !

Hi Bill - a friend of mine owns a '42 Torpedo. His was built in January '42 a few weeks before Pontiac shut down for war production, his is a straight-six with a three-speed on the tree.

There ought to be a law that says you cannot call, advertise, or campaign until 30 days before any election. If you can't get your message out in 30 days - tough. It would also save on fund raising......

Didn't get to drive it, but I got to sit in the driver's seat. The driver seat sits very high. Think of driving a double decker bus from the second level, that's what it feels like sitting up that high. Plus there are 2 passenger seats behind the driver.

Voted absentee - I can't wait for the damn political commercials to end.

Futureliner #10 is the one I am most familiar with, having been inside it, as well as seen it twice up close. It has a Buick straight-6 engine tied to a Korean war-era tank transmission to drive it.

Foose added the Sprint6 as a tribute to Lance winning his "then" 6th Tour de France. My how things have changed in a decade! -
In case you've every wondered, the original Batmobile for the TV show that was built by George Barris, was built from this concept car: The 1955 Lincoln Futura
-
I thought you might say that.

The sharks or the so called entrepreneurs?

Ooohhh this sounds like an episode of "Shark Tank". How about I loan you a grand at 50% interest, compounded semi-daily, you keep your winnings, but if your winnings exceed the pay off amount then the interest rate doubles.
