I was sent a list of old auto videos and these particular videos were on it. It flips to show the passage of time and progress of society and the motor car. That particular display is preserved at the GM Heritage Collection and it is still operational. I have no idea which Futureliner had this particular display in it.

OK - I've starred at this one for too long now. I love the look of this truck, except one thing is bugging me. Can someone tell me if they see it too or if I am imagining things. Look at the front fender. Is it me or is it a reflection? It appears that the front fender has been sectioned and widened to accommodate the new, wider front tires and the new, lowered stance of the truck (to me). The reflection seems to show a badly welded seam and/or paint line where the fender might have been altered. This sort of thing spoils the whole picture for me. Am I over analyzing this thing or is it really there? Is it just a reflection? I can't honestly believe that a decent body man would let something that obvious show in the final product, given the look of the rest of the truck. Still.......it bugs me.

I know that Ford is moving away from the retro look for the Mustrang, but I agree with Ringo, this is downright fuuuugly.

You have to read the article on this gorgeous Pontiac lead sled to appreciate what has been done to it. There is an impressive array of custom modifications to make this car look this good, inside and out. There are a lot of neat ideas and attention to detail. The use of 8-lug wheels, a '58 fuel injection system on a '73 455 motor to produce 501 HP, just to name a few things done to this car.

Two reasons, I don't think he is very interested in it since he selected the LT1 over the Z06 in the first place, and second a Vette with a Z06 is not available on a GM discount yet. Still 455 HP out of the LT1 should still be plenty of gitty-up-n-go.

I know what you mean. When I re-did the seats on my Lemans, I purchased exact reproduction white seat covers from Legendary Auto Interiors. They produce the exact color and grain for my '72 convertible. I had my upholsterer carefully take them apart and replace the stock white piping with blue piping that matches the exterior color of the car. it is a subtle thing, but people notice it and often ask me did that come that way from the factory? Great job on bumper.
