That was the day we picked it up at the dealer and took it HOME for a couple pic's. Got her in the plant to follow the build and thought it would be cool to get a couple pic's after pickin the car up. Not many can say that about their 1st NEW car. She traded in her 1st Pontiac. Ol Blue.

LMAO. Not really. I have the better pic's and alot include Lucy and Indy's tiremelter. Selfies of landmark odometer readings only go so far.

Of course the V6 or V8 would be preferred, but actually the Duke, esp used in the H body rearwheel platform, was a dependable workhorse. Matched with a 4 spd stick, upped the performance level somewhat. Gas mileage in the mid 30's per gallon proved to be an awesome grocery getter, kids 1st car ect. The Duke was also used heavily in marine applications.

I'm sure the bigger rims will not fit the front. May be able to put 2 bigger ones on the back (you want it to ride level) until your able to find another correct rim. As last Indian said, carefully check clearances. Call local salvage yards and/or local GM dealership. Speak to the rep in the collision shop, they will usually have a contact for replacement stock rims. Had the same prob here this summer and had to find 3 rims for my daughters G6.

Kicked some tail tonight. Hope we are back on track after losing 3 of 5 games last week using 2 sub's. Had fun, that's the main thing.

Justa gettin used to the empty nest, and now have my oldest daughter back home. And all that goes with that. On the plus side, Justa dropped a turkey in the smoker. Mines done for the year. Slipped into the 60's today after a run of unheard of 70's the last week or so. Now talkin snow next weekend. Pulling the dash on the GTO, replacing my climate controls (have new cables in) replace the veneer if I can match the console. Guy that was gonna help me with the stain, his wife just went into hospice. You know what that's all about. I'd like to get it done and glued into place before the real cold sets in. Been workin on the fleet of daily drivers, and a ton of yardwork.
