  1. Also grew up in Pontiac N followed my Dad into PMD, also graduated from Pontiac Motors (plant 9). Welcome to the site.
  2. Favorite kitty game is sail kitties. You know the flat ones you find on the road. Great fun to fly like frisbee's, last for hours before the little arms N legs fall off!
  3. 1st off, I found N joined FP.......Thankz for the memories!!! Have made some awesome friendships here, Frosty, Indy, the Notallthere's, LastIndian to name a few, and was able to bring a bunch of my Pontiac buddies here. After winning a contest on a new site for Gold Eagle products, I was asked to display my Sunbird as part of the Gold Eagle display with their Big rig for the Dream Cruise. All expenses paid including meals for the weekend. Gold Eagle pit crew shirts for me N the family to be part of the team. Between the Sunbird and the GTO, I've had more memories in the last 10yrs then I have time to write about. Forever Pontiac............
  4. Actually I need to be pulling mine as well. Picked up new veneer for the dash, spent stupid $$$ to have it stained to match my center console. After much fighting with my climate control assembly and installing new cables, realized the whole assembly needed to be replaced as you can't get rebuild parts. Have a new/used one ready to go as well. Couldn't get it in gear to replace during the summer and warm weather, didn't want to miss any shows or cruise nights with the car apart and waiting on parts, also plan to upgrade to led bulbs while it's all out. Only plan on doing this one more time. It's been 13 years now since I found the dash and was figuring out how to install it. Car didn't come with one. Justa toggle switch to fire the motor on the bracket racer.
  5. Michigan guys head down there and don't know how to act in the warm weather.....at least in the 2nd half. Mich lost the Citrus bowl.
  6. LOL 2 lane. John Deere takes care of my lawn. If that was here....I'd be using my new crossbow Christmas present, We can hunt til the end of the year. If it wasn't for the muddy roads, I was thinkin about a Dec cruise in da GTO.
  7. Only thing car related was a set of Pontiac shoulder pads for the seatbelts from JustaG6. New crossbow was the highlight gift this year N Momma won't let me play with it in the house. Crazy weather..... around 50's last week or so = no white Christmas.
  8. What is your opinion? As with ALL married guys.......Your wrong, get over it. Save the drama for something your really bummed about being wrong about. Merry Christmas to the Notallthere's.
  9. I hired in to plant 9 (engine plant) in 1977. My wife worked at Fischer body (then soon to be renamed the fiero plant). There were miles of steam tunnels connecting the plants as well as the overhead body transfer from Fischer to PMD. I would cross to see her on our breaks/lunch. All about knowing where the cameras were and how to get around them. They used to let us bring in parts, tag them and hand off to my contact in plating. Many of the Sunbirds brackets/valve covers ect were PMD chrome plated and still look perfect today.
  10. They spend all day running on that wheel N going nowhere.....suddenly a box looks good. Editor cleaning the cage, thinks this sh.. is a newsflash.
  11. You will need to meet up with us at the Widetrackers Dustoff in June.
  12. The Hampsters started this.........
  13. Some of the BEST things in life are your old toys............
  14. Good to hear from ya bro. Missed ya most of the summer and had every intention of calling you for months.
  15. Glad to know there is somebody in line BEHIND me!!!
  16. Welcome to FP. Nice GTO.
