Its rare to find a car restored to this level of perfection

So sorry to see this advertisement. Somebody is going to get a real gem.

I've had a few unfortunate financial setbacks in the past couple of years, not the least of which is that my wife was diagnosed with stage 3 vulvar cancer back in March. Even with insurance, the bills from the treatments and surgeries are getting a little out of hand, so I must sell my GTO to get ahead. We are only caretakers of cars like Black Betty, she will be around long after we are gone, and I am thankful for the two short years I had her. In the end, my family, and especially my wife come before anything else.

 

That being said, all I've had is tire-kickers and low-ballers. I am ready to come way down on the price so if any of my good friends here at FP are interested or you know of someone looking for a GTO, please PM me.

Pat, you and Nancy are in our thoughts and prayers. As much fun as it can be sometimes, you are right, it's only a car. We out last some and others outlast us.

    Sorry to hear the news Pat, but I get the feeling that you are both very strong people and it will take a hell of a lot more than this to bring you down. You said it perfectly when you said we are just caretakers of these beautiful cars and after all the smoke clears for you, you'll be back caring for another betty!
