thinking of getting Grand Sport stripes (poll)

Please re-vote I went to fix a typo and lost the poll for some reason. This forums polls hate me for some reason. lol

I have been liking the Grand Sport stripes some of the GA & GP people have on there cars.

Im thinking of getting a pair made up for my G6 let me know what you think. I like the look of the ones that one is thicker than the other one. I may have to wait for summer cuz its too cold this time of year in NE to do this mod.

if they had that in red id possibly get it

I'll have to get it custom made and can always have a red set made for you if I can.

I love my fender stripes. All my Forza 3 cars have them hehe

Incorrect. They're vinyl. It won't hurt the paint at all. And even if there is some residue left, nothing some GooGone can't fix.

Dont do it!!! That makes the car look cheesey

I have mix feelings about it, I'd say get it done by a Vinyl that way you can always take it off if you don't like it later instead of paint which will cost more money to get off.

id go vinyl that way if you dont like it then you can take them off.

now the stripes with a different hood will look cool.

Hey thanks all when I see my vinyl guy this weekend ill talk to about this project too. I have to see if he has or can get the color I want.

same here... I've been thinking about the same stripes since I've been on FP and saw that they look pretty cool... but I still have mixed feelings...

Joe let me know how much your vinyl guy will make these for and what colors. I might be intrested in black or dark grey(gunmetal) ones.

While we're on the subject of your Vinyl guy you think you could get a quote for eyelids for us? Man this guy might be getting a lot of business from this forum, ask him if he wants to be a vendor

Here is something for you guys to check out Vinyl Sheets Check out the links on the left side under Uncut Vinyl sheets, they state they start at around $30, so for you people looking to make your own eyelids or fender stripes, you could get this in the length you need, make a thin cardboard cutout for whatever you are doing, then take a razor blade, cut out the decal, spray it with a mixture of water and soap, lay it on the car in the place you want it, use a credit car to squeeze out the air bubbles gently while going over it with a hair dryer on low settings, let it cure over night, and then you would have your new vinyl Trust me, I KNOW what I'm talking about, if ya don't believe me, ask the G6P guys, they tease me all the time about my vinyls

i think black would look good.

Im thinking a light grey or a few shades darker silver, I dont want it to be too bold.
