We are heading over to New York on the 8th December .

the boss has this bucket list and NY is on it ! 
soooo … any tips ? 
any car places that I should drag her too ?

we have a few ideas of what we want to see and do , but would appreciate suggestions …

Hmmm....if I was in the NYC area, I would definitely have to go the USS Intrepid. A WWII area aircraft carrier and air museum. They have one of the former space shuttles too.

Step 1: Leave New York, go to Boston instead  jk. That should be a fun trip! Been a hot minute since I’ve been to New York. 

Have you been there before?   If not, the statue of Liberty, Times square, Empire state building.  There's an elevator ride for ya.  Awesome view from the top!

we where in Ny for the tenths anniversury for 9-11  there was a little church that we went to and outside was thousands of white ribbons tied to the iron fences, very weird feeling being there.

Hey Chris, last time we were in NY, we did the Statue of LIberty, Empire State Building, and 9/11 Memorial. All touristy, but worth seeing in my opinion.

EDIT: And of course we went to MOMA (Museum of Modern Art), which is probably one for Mrs. KiwiBoni, but I really enjoyed it as well.

See you wait till the cow is asleep and then you run out there and push it over. Another tip, don't eat yellow snow.  

But seriously, I hate tipping. Gotta tip your uber driver, the bellman, the restaurant waiter, etc... it's crazy and all different amounts 

Tipping in a restaurant is usually 10-20% based on how you feel the service and food was. If it was horrible, leaving 2 pennies (e.g. your 2 cents worth) means you hated the food/service and you didn't forget to tip.

Here is a guideline for just about everything else. Mind you - these are guidelines. It's up to you to determine what it was worth to you and the boss.

OK bro, just my two cents, after all the tourist stuff is done you have to eat.  If you get the chance brother, go by Roberta’s for a pizza! I know it sounds crazy to look for a pizza joint on a vacation bro but it's true Brooklyn style pizza, not any of that franchise shit and its awesome! You should also really stop by Junior's Restaurant and grab a cheesecake, best there is! I used to have them shipped to me in Texas when I lived there.
